75-Inch 4K TVs Are Available Below $600, but the Console Comparison Needs a Caveat

A 75-inch 4K TV has appeared in U.S. listings below $600, but sale prices change and 4K alone says little about picture or gaming performance.

Yes: U.S. listings cited in 2026 put some 75-inch 4K TVs below $600, including an LG model listed by its manufacturer at $549.99 and a TCL set in a reported Best Buy sale at $479.99. Those dated examples show that lower-priced sets exist, not that either price is still available—or that either TV costs less than a particular gaming console.

What do the price examples actually show?

Example Price and source What is established
LG 75UA7000PUB, 2025 model $549.99 on LG’s official U.S. product page, accessed in 2026 75-inch 4K smart TV with webOS and HDR10 Pro. The manufacturer listing is time-sensitive, not a guaranteed transaction price. LG product page
TCL 75-inch 4K smart TV; exact model not identified $479.99, reduced from $649.99, in a Best Buy offer reported by TechRadar in 2026 A reported promotion, which may have ended. The report excerpt does not identify the model, so its specifications cannot safely be inferred. TechRadar’s deal report
TCL 75A400U $1,399.99 on TCL North America’s page, accessed in 2026 75-inch 4K Google TV with Mini LED and native 4K 144Hz, illustrating how much higher-priced feature tiers differ from entry-level examples. TCL product page

Prices can change, and a listed price is not necessarily the checkout total: delivery, installation, taxes, and retailer-specific terms may affect what you pay. Check the seller’s current listing before making a decision.

Does that make a 75-inch TV cheaper than a gaming console?

Not as a general, verifiable claim. “A gaming console” could mean different products and price bases: a manufacturer’s suggested price or a retailer promotion, for example. The reported TCL sale is not enough to establish a like-for-like comparison because the console, region, seller, and comparison date are unspecified. Treat “less than a gaming console” as an unverified headline comparison, not a dependable buying rule.

What does a low-priced 75-inch 4K TV buy?

4K describes resolution; it does not, by itself, establish brightness, contrast, HDR performance, refresh rate, or gaming features. The LG listing specifies 4K, webOS, and HDR10 Pro, but those labels do not make it equivalent to a model with a different backlight or faster native refresh rate. The TCL 75A400U listing, at a higher price, specifies Mini LED and native 4K 144Hz—features that the budget examples should not be assumed to have.

How to compare 75-inch TVs before buying

  1. Compare the actual price. Confirm the current seller price and whether delivery or installation is included; check the final checkout total.
  2. Identify the picture hardware. Compare backlight or display tier and the specific HDR support listed for each exact model. Do not treat “4K” as a complete picture-quality rating.
  3. Check gaming needs. If you play games, verify native refresh rate, HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM on the manufacturer’s page for the exact model. Do not transfer features from another TV in the same brand or screen-size range.
  4. Check the smart-TV platform. Confirm the operating system and that it supports the apps and services you use.
  5. Confirm purchase terms and fit. Review the specific retailer’s return policy and warranty, and check that the TV will fit your room, furniture, and installation location. The cited listings do not establish warranty or return terms, so verify them with the seller or manufacturer.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
