Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival — October 8
In this first-person action horror survival game, protagonist Aidan uses a puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration while trying to help his girlfriend Sunny escape the Labyrinth, according to Xbox Wire. Echo Weaver — October 8
Xbox Wire describes Echo Weaver as a knowledge-based Metroidvania about an unraveling time loop. Its listing shows Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere labels and a price of $19.99; the roundup does not establish that price for other regions or storefronts. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which platforms are covered?
The title of this roundup spans PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Switch, but that does not mean all seven games are confirmed for all four. Of the platform details provided by Game Informer, Gears of War: E-Day is listed for Xbox Series X/S and PC, while STAR WARS: Galactic Racer is listed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Xbox Wire provides descriptions and storefront information for its own listing; the cited material does not verify Switch availability for any of these seven games.

- Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.
For titles whose platform details are not established here, use the official store page for your console or PC storefront to confirm both availability and the launch date. A title appearing in an Xbox roundup does not, by itself, confirm that it is exclusive to Xbox or available elsewhere.
Why these seven—and what else is on the calendar?
“Big” is not a consistent measure in the release schedules: the cited sources do not provide comparable sales forecasts, player counts, or review scores. This is a practical shortlist chosen for recognizable franchises, range across genres and platforms, and visibility in current release listings—not a claim that these are objectively the seven largest launches.
There are other scheduled releases in the same window. PC Gamer’s calendar includes Aion 2 on October 5; Order of the Sinking Star and Silver Pines on October 8; and Paperhead and Truckful on October 9. It also separates new games from updates, expansions, and events: for example, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is presented as an update or expansion, while Arc Raiders Frozen Trail is an update and LudoNarraCon is an event. Those categories are not interchangeable with standalone new releases.
