TP-Link’s public portfolio lists five independent sub-brands: Tapo, Kasa, Omada, VIGI, and Aginet. Together, they cover consumer smart-home products, business networking, and professional security. TP-Link uses the term “independent sub-brands”; that describes their place in its group portfolio, not five separately established subsidiary companies.

TP-Link’s five sub-brands at a glance

Brand Focus Typical audience or use
Tapo Smart-home products Consumers looking for devices such as cameras, robot vacuums, bulbs, and sensors
Kasa Consumer electronics Consumer products; TP-Link’s cited business description does not establish a more detailed distinction from Tapo
Omada Commercial networking Businesses managing network equipment; TP-Link also identifies Omada Pro for enterprises
VIGI Professional surveillance and enterprise security Small businesses and other organizations, including retailers, hotels, schools, restaurants, and offices
Aginet Not specified in detail in the cited portfolio materials Included in TP-Link’s sub-brand list, but its precise scope is not established by those materials

What each brand makes

Tapo: smart-home devices

TP-Link describes Tapo as a smart-home brand. Its range includes security cameras, robot vacuums, bulbs, and sensors. It is the clearest fit in the portfolio for consumers building or expanding a connected home. Tapo’s official site

Kasa: consumer electronics

TP-Link’s business description identifies Kasa as a consumer-electronics sub-brand. The available descriptions establish its broad consumer focus, but do not support a firm product-by-product comparison with Tapo.

Omada: business networking

Omada is TP-Link’s commercial networking sub-brand. TP-Link’s global portfolio also names Omada Pro for enterprise users and Festa for small businesses and home offices, placing the wider networking offer across different organizational needs.

VIGI: professional surveillance

VIGI is TP-Link’s professional surveillance brand, positioned within enterprise security. TP-Link names small-business settings such as retail stores, hotels, schools, restaurants, and offices as use cases.

Aginet: included, with less public detail here

Aginet appears in TP-Link’s list of independent sub-brands. The cited materials do not define its product scope as specifically as they do for Tapo, Kasa, Omada, and VIGI, so it is best to identify it as part of the portfolio without assigning it an unsupported category.

What “owned by TP-Link” means here

TP-Link Corporation Group’s restructuring announcement calls Tapo, Kasa, Omada, VIGI, and Aginet “independent sub-brands.” TP-Link Systems Inc.’s fact sheet describes that company as the parent for the global TP-Link business, while its US legal footer says branded products bearing those names are products of TP-Link Systems Inc. or its affiliates. That supports describing the five as brands in TP-Link’s group portfolio; it does not establish that each brand is a separate subsidiary directly held by the parent. TP-Link corporate information

A 2023 announcement from Big Field Global said it completed a global acquisition of several TP-Link-affiliated companies and listed TP-Link, Kasa, Tapo, Omada, Aginet, and VIGI as brands united under the group. It does not say that each of the five brands was separately acquired.
