- Open your Twitch channel and go to chat.
- Find the Nightbot username (often Nightbot or nightbot depending on capitalization).
- In chat, run:
/ban nightbot
- Press Enter.
- If you only want a temporary stop, use a timeout instead (example):

- Temporarily ban the Nightbot account to confirm what source is responding.
- If commands persist after Nightbot is banned, check whether another bot is installed (for example, StreamElements automations) and test by temporarily blocking other bot accounts too.
You lost access to the Nightbot account
