If you’ve finished CONTROL Resonant, the three most worthwhile Remedy games to play next are Control, Alan Wake 2 and Quantum Break. They offer three distinct follow-ups: the story’s direct predecessor, a survival-horror branch connected to the same universe, and a time-fracturing action adventure.

1. Control: the direct predecessor
Control is the clearest choice if you want the story that leads into Resonant. Remedy identifies Resonant as a sequel to Control, the 2019 supernatural third-person action-adventure about a secretive New York agency confronting an otherworldly threat. The original is the strongest starting point for continuity and the closest match in premise.
Combat centers on combining supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and environments that react to the action. 2. Alan Wake 2: the connected-universe horror route
Choose Alan Wake 2 if you want a stronger horror emphasis and a wider view of Remedy’s connected stories. Remedy says Control and Alan Wake are linked through the Remedy Connected Universe. The sequel follows a writer trapped in a nightmare and an FBI agent investigating a mystery across two realities, with two playable hero characters. Remedy describes it as its first foray into survival horror.
Remedy lists PC via Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on the official game page. Remedy’s 2024 half-year report recorded an announcement of a physical Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition made by Limited Run Games; that confirms a historical release path, not present stock or pricing.

3. Quantum Break: time-travel action
Quantum Break is the pick if you want another Remedy-led speculative action story but don’t need the closer Control–Alan Wake connection. Its premise starts with a time-travel experiment that fractures time. The action-adventure pairs gameplay with a live-action show, whose episodes are shaped by player actions and choices.
Remedy’s game page lists Xbox One and PC. Remedy’s description does not establish Quantum Break as part of the Remedy Connected Universe, so treat it as a separate recommendation rather than a required chapter in that story.
