There is no official, verified ranking of the 100 “best” monday.com integrations. The right choice depends on what you need to do—such as turn messages into tasks, sync calendars, connect development work, or automate a workflow. This guide explains how to choose and set up integrations, then highlights documented examples by use case. Treat them as starting points, not a promise that every app is available for every account.
What are integrations in monday.com?
Integrations connect monday.com boards and workflows with external services. Depending on the connector, it might send a notification, create a board item from an email or conversation, show calendar events, synchronize records, or embed a board in another tool. “Integration” does not mean every service offers the same actions or a full two-way sync.
Apps in the monday marketplace are built by monday.com and third-party developers. Admins install marketplace apps, then configure them for a board or workflow. monday.com says marketplace apps are reviewed for functionality and security but are not endorsed or certified by the company. Review the listing’s feature, pricing, permission, security, compliance, and developer details before installation. See The monday marketplace.
How to choose the right integration
Compare integrations by the work they actually perform, not just by the service name. Use these checks before you install:

#1 Best Overall
- Outcome: Is the app for notifications, item creation, calendar sync, record sync, file access, an embedded view, or an automation step?
- Sync behavior: Which fields move, in which direction, and what happens when a value changes on both sides? Confirm whether two-way syncing requires paired templates.
- Eligibility: Check monday.com product and plan, account permissions, data region, external-service subscription, and any Microsoft licensing requirements.
- Setup and permissions: Identify the accounts and admin rights needed, and inspect the requested scopes before granting access.
- Cost and upkeep: Check app pricing and usage limits, who maintains the connector, and where to get support.
These are practical comparison criteria, not a monday.com ranking or scoring system. Plan availability and usage limits vary by integration; consult Get started with monday Integrations and the current listing for the app you need.
How do you set up an integration in monday.com?
- Open the relevant board and select Integrate. Search the available apps, or browse the marketplace when you are still comparing options.
- Check the app listing. Confirm the specific actions, plan and account requirements, permissions, pricing, security information, and developer support.
- Choose an integration recipe or template. The available templates determine what events trigger an action and what information is passed.
- Connect the external account and grant only the required access. Some connections also require admin approval in monday.com or the external service.
- Configure and test the workflow. Verify the trigger, destination board, field mapping, and sync direction using a representative item or event.
Exact labels and availability can vary by product and account. If a connector stops working, first check that the connected account still has access and that its credentials or permissions have not changed. Reconnect or reauthorize it only after checking the required account and scopes. General setup guidance is in monday.com’s integrations help page.

Useful monday.com integrations by workflow
The examples below are documented starting points, not a definitive top-100 list. Confirm the current app edition, listing, and requirements before relying on any connector.
Team communication and service requests
- Slack: Use it for board notifications and updates, creating monday items from Slack conversations, or board actions from Slack. Some functionality is unavailable for EU data-residency accounts, and current features may require updated app permissions. See Slack integration guidance.
- Microsoft Teams app: Add boards as channel tabs, receive selected board notifications through the monday chatbot, and turn conversations into action items. This is distinct from the separate Teams integration that sends trigger-based notifications to a whole channel. See Microsoft Teams integration guidance.
- monday service in Teams: A separate, product-specific route for submitting and tracking service requests. The support page states that it is available on monday service Enterprise; do not confuse it with the general Teams app. See monday service–Microsoft Teams integration.
- Zoom: Bring meeting information into monday.com. The current support page specifies US servers and Standard or higher eligibility; check the latest regional and product requirements. See Zoom integration guidance.
Email and calendars
- Gmail: Create board items from email and send updates using a connected Gmail account. The user needs to grant permissions and have the relevant board or workspace rights. See Gmail integration guidance.
- Outlook: Create items from emails and sync meetings. The connecting user needs Microsoft 365 Business Premium and an online Exchange inbox; on-premises email is not supported. Older events are not retroactively synced. See Outlook integration guidance.
- Google Calendar: Choose one-way calendar display or a two-way workflow built with templates in both directions. Check monday.com’s supported fields before depending on the sync. See Google Calendar integration guidance.
- Outlook Calendar: Sync board dates and calendar events. Two-way sync requires paired templates and the documented Microsoft account prerequisites. See Outlook Calendar integration guidance.
Development and business-record synchronization
- GitHub with monday dev: Connect planning and sprint tracking with GitHub work. Installation requires admin permissions on monday.com and the GitHub organization; inspect the requested scopes and permissions. See GitHub integration guidance.
- Jira Data Center and Salesforce: monday.com documents a newer app with configurable two-way sync and field mapping. Existing integrations are being migrated gradually, so check which app edition and migration state apply to your account. See Jira and Salesforce integration guidance.
- HubSpot, Confluence, Xero, and Dropbox: These services appear in monday.com’s documentation for connected tools used by AI agents. That is not the same as confirming a board integration template. The documentation directs users to the live product UI for the full available tool list. See connected tools for monday AI agents.
Automation and files
- Zapier: Consider it as a third-party bridge when the workflow is not covered by a native monday.com integration. Available services and actions depend on Zapier’s catalog and your configuration, and the additional service becomes an intermediary. See monday.com’s Zapier guidance.
- Workflow-builder blocks: monday.com documents integration blocks for Google Drive, Harvest, Intercom, Jotform, Outlook Calendar, and Pingdom. Check the exact action list: a service’s presence does not mean every action is supported. See workflow-builder integration blocks.
- File services: Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, and SharePoint are listed as file sources for supported upload surfaces. Selecting a file from one of these services is not necessarily the same as installing a board integration template. See How to manage files in monday.com.
Are monday.com integrations available on all plans?
No. monday.com says some integrations are limited to specific plans, depending on the connected app and usage limits. Availability may also depend on the monday.com product, account permissions, data region, the external service’s subscription or configuration, and—in Microsoft workflows—licensing and mailbox setup. Check the individual app’s current documentation and listing rather than assuming a connector works on every account.

What to verify before using an integration for important work
- Confirm that the exact app or template is currently available to your account and does the action you need.
- For any two-way workflow, test supported fields, direction, paired-template requirements, and how updates are handled on each side.
- Check data-region restrictions, external account prerequisites, and required administrator permissions.
- Read the app developer’s security, compliance, permission, pricing, and support details. A marketplace review is not monday.com certification or endorsement.
- Run a small test before moving business-critical records or relying on notifications for time-sensitive work.
If setup, migration, or workflow design requires outside help, monday.com maintains a directory of certified partners offering services such as integration implementation and training. See monday.com’s partner directory.
