Open Instellingen > Actieknop, kies een functie en houd daarna de fysieke Actieknop ingedrukt om die uit te voeren. Welke functies je kunt kiezen, hangt af van je iPhone-model, softwareversie en eventuele taal- of regiovoorwaarden.
Heeft jouw iPhone een Actieknop?
De Actieknop zit alleen op ondersteunde iPhones. Hij vervangt daar de traditionele beltoon/stil-schakelaar. Apple noemt onder meer de iPhone 15 Pro-modellen en de nieuwere iPhone 16e- en iPhone 17e-modellen als toestellen met een Actieknop. Op andere modellen gebruik je de beltoon/stil-schakelaar. Bekijk zo nodig de modelspecificaties van je toestel via Apple Support.

Tik op Actieknop.

Veeg door de beschikbare functies tot de gewenste actie verschijnt.

Als de gekozen functie extra opties toont, tik je op de optie eronder en selecteer je de gewenste variant.

Verlaat Instellingen. Houd de Actieknop ingedrukt om de gekozen actie uit te voeren.
Bij de acties Regelaars, Opdracht en Toegankelijkheid moet je ook een concrete optie selecteren. Zonder die keuze voert de knop geen actie uit. Apple beschrijft deze instellingen en het gebruik in de iPhone-gebruikershandleiding.
Welke acties kun je toewijzen?
Afhankelijk van je toestel en softwareversie kunnen de opties onder meer zijn:

De lijst is niet voor iedere iPhone gegarandeerd hetzelfde. Visuele intelligentie vereist Apple Intelligence; Apple Intelligence is alleen beschikbaar op ondersteunde apparaten en kent taal- en regiobeperkingen. De opties die je daadwerkelijk kunt gebruiken, zie je op je eigen toestel onder Instellingen > Actieknop.

Wil je de functie veranderen, ga dan opnieuw naar Instellingen > Actieknop en veeg naar een andere beschikbare actie. Kies Geen actie als je de knop niet wilt gebruiken. Voor functies met extra instellingen selecteer je ook daar de gewenste variant.
