ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on November 3, 2026. The same expanded edition is already available on PC as a free update for owners of ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies, which launched October 1. The console versions add platform-specific controls and presentation features rather than changing the release date or core Director’s Cut content.

PC players received the Director’s Cut on October 1, 2026. It is a free update for people who own ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies; the console announcement does not state that either console edition is a free upgrade from another version.
What the Director’s Cut adds
The expanded edition substantially revises the existing game with story, presentation and usability additions. The announced features include:

RPG Site reports approximately 40,000 words of new material in the Director’s Cut. That figure describes added writing, not a guaranteed playtime increase, and no attributable performance, sales or review-score statistics have been announced.

Why choose Switch 2
The Switch 2 edition is the only announced version built for both handheld and docked use. Its Joy-Con 2 mouse controls may suit menus and cursor-driven interactions, while touchscreen support provides a second input method in handheld mode. HD Rumble 2 supplies the console-specific vibration layer. You need Nintendo’s newer Switch 2 hardware; the announcement does not list the original Nintendo Switch as a supported platform.

Why choose PS5
The PS5 edition targets a fixed-console setup. DualSense adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and the controller speaker are used for tactile and audio cues, while 3D audio and a 4K presentation are the platform’s headline output features. Choose it if you already play on PS5 and prioritize those display and controller capabilities over portability.

How the versions compare in everyday play
Input and menus
Switch 2 offers the broadest range of input options: standard controls, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and a touchscreen. PS5 instead concentrates interaction through DualSense, with adaptive triggers and haptics intended to make controller feedback more immediate. The underlying Director’s Cut additions—such as inventory sorting, grouping and remapping—are shared improvements, while the physical method of using them differs by console.
