Nintendo lists the Switch Pro Controller as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, so this older Zelda edition can be an option for Switch 2 owners as well as original Switch owners. Woot labels the listing “Today’s Woot,” but the exact offer end time is not established; check the live listing for current price and availability.
Which Zelda controller is on sale?
The $69.99 listing is for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition. Its design is based on the 2023 game, and Nintendo’s product page identifies it as a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Nintendo’s Tears of the Kingdom Special Edition product page and Woot’s listing refer to this deal.

It is not the separate Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller – The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition. Nintendo’s US Store lists that newer model for $99.99 with a planned release date of October 29, 2026. See Nintendo’s 40th Anniversary edition listing.
Does the Tears of the Kingdom controller work with Switch 2?
Yes. Nintendo’s compatibility table lists “Nintendo Switch Pro Controller | Compatible” for Nintendo Switch 2. That supports using this controller family with the newer console. Nintendo’s published compatibility information does not specify feature-by-feature behavior for this special edition, so it should not be treated as a promise of identical features to the Switch 2 Pro Controller.
