Was der PCGH-Test tatsächlich zeigt
PC Games Hardware (PCGH) erweiterte seine Lüfterrangliste um zehn Modelle im 140-mm-Format. Der Beitrag von Jan Hauck erschien am 28. August 2026 und ist als PCGH-PLUS-Artikel gekennzeichnet. Im zugänglichen Teil werden Noctuas NF-A14x25 G2 im Titel hervorgehoben und Endorfys Fluctus 140 PWM ARGB als Preis-Leistungs-Tipp genannt. Daraus lässt sich weder eine verifizierte Gesamtrangfolge noch die Aussage ableiten, Noctua schlage jedes Konkurrenzmodell.

Wie PCGH Kühlleistung und Lautheit verglich
PCGH montierte jeden Lüfter auf demselben 140-mm-Radiator. Im Testsystem arbeiteten ein Intel Core i9-12900K und ein Gigabyte-Z790-Tachyon-Mainboard; ein Alphacool Nexxxos ST30 mit 140-mm-Radiator führte die Wärme ab. Die CPU lief unter Cinebench-Volllast mit im BIOS festgelegten 200 Watt. Nach 15 Minuten Aufwärmzeit erfasste PCGH das Temperaturdelta zwischen Wasser und Umgebungsluft. Ein kleineres Delta bedeutete bessere Kühlleistung.

Für den Hauptvergleich wurde jeder Lüfter auf fünf Lautheitsstufen geregelt. Ein Cortex Analyzer NC10 maß den Schall aus 50 cm Abstand zur Lüfternabe.

Zusätzlich prüfte PCGH jeden Lüfter bei maximaler Drehzahl. In diesem Durchgang wurde die Lautheit aufgezeichnet, aber laut Artikel nicht mehr bewertet. Maximale Drehzahl ist daher nicht mit dem auf gleiche Lautheit normierten Hauptvergleich gleichzusetzen.

Warum der Testsieger von der Lautheitsstufe abhängen kann
Die fünf Lautheitsstufen trennen zwei Fragen, die bei Lüftern oft vermischt werden: Wie viel Kühlleistung bringt ein Modell bei einer vorgegebenen Lautheit, und wie laut wird es, wenn es mit maximaler Drehzahl läuft? Wer einen leisen Rechner möchte, sollte vor allem die Werte bei niedriger Lautheit betrachten; für hohe thermische Last kann die Leistung bei den höheren Stufen relevanter sein. Der zugängliche Testauszug enthält nicht genug vollständig auswertbare Ranglisten- und Diagrammdetails, um für jede Stufe einen Sieger oder konkrete Temperaturwerte zuverlässig zu nennen.
Die Messungen gelten für den beschriebenen Radiator- und CPU-Aufbau. Sie sind ein kontrollierter Vergleichshinweis, aber keine Garantie für dieselben Temperaturen in jedem Gehäuse oder System. Als Gehäuselüfter können Einbauort, Luftstrom und die übrigen Komponenten das Ergebnis mitbestimmen.

Für einen Radiator
Der Test selbst vergleicht die Lüfter auf einem 140-mm-Radiator. Das macht seine Messmethode besonders relevant, wenn du einen passenden Radiatorlüfter suchst. Prüfe trotzdem vor dem Kauf, ob Lüfter und Radiator beziehungsweise Gehäuse die benötigten 140-mm-Montagepunkte haben.
Für ein leises System
Orientiere dich an den Messpunkten mit 0,2 oder 0,3 Sone statt an einem Lauf bei maximaler Drehzahl. Der PCGH-Test normiert den Hauptvergleich auf diese Lautheitsziele, doch der frei lesbare Ausschnitt reicht nicht aus, um daraus eine vollständige Rangliste für den leisesten Betrieb zu erstellen.

PCGH nennt den Endorfy Fluctus 140 PWM ARGB als Preis-Leistungs-Tipp. Das ist der konkrete Empfehlungshinweis im zugänglichen Test; er ersetzt keinen Blick auf den aktuellen Preis und die Ausstattung des jeweiligen Angebots. Der ARCTIC P14 steht im Beitrag für die Budgetseite des Vergleichs, doch die dort genannten sieben Euro sind keine aktuelle Preiszusage.
Für Beleuchtung und Anschlussausstattung

Prüfe die Spezifikationen des konkreten Modells und deiner Lüftersteuerung, statt aus dem Kühltest auf elektrische oder mechanische Kompatibilität zu schließen.
