To repeat a YouTube playlist, open a video from the playlist and turn on its playlist Repeat or Loop control. On a computer, enable Loop in the expanded playlist panel; on a TV, use the playback controls until they show Repeat • Playlist. Pick a video quality that plays smoothly on the device. These settings can keep a playlist cycling, but they do not guarantee unattended playback for 24 hours: YouTube may pause and ask whether you are still watching. Airtel broadband performance depends on your actual connection and plan, not just the provider name.
Set a YouTube playlist to repeat on your device
Playlist Repeat and Autoplay are different. Repeat cycles the playlist you selected. Autoplay starts another related video after playback ends; it does not ensure that your playlist repeats. Set Repeat on the device that is actually playing the videos.

Computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist you want to play.
- Expand the playlist panel beside the player.
- Click Loop in the playlist box. This repeats the playlist. Right-clicking the player and choosing Loop repeats only the current video, so use the playlist control instead.
- To choose a fixed resolution, open Settings > Quality in the player and select an available option. If playback is stable on Auto, you can leave the quality setting there.
Smart TV or game console
- Open the playlist in the YouTube app and start playback.
- Press down on the remote or controller to show playback controls.
- Select Repeat until its state reads Repeat • Playlist. Repeat • Currently playing loops only the current video.
- Open Settings > Quality and choose a resolution the device offers.
Phone, tablet, or casting
In the YouTube mobile app, play the playlist and use the Loop control in the playlist control box. If you cast from a computer, YouTube says the computer and TV or streaming device should be on the same Wi-Fi network. A phone or tablet can also link to a TV using a TV code when the devices are not on the same Wi-Fi. Autoplay settings can differ by device, so confirm playback and repeat behavior on the endpoint that is showing the video. Choose video quality for the connection you actually have
YouTube may adjust quality automatically based on connection speed, screen size, the quality of the uploaded video, and browser support. The quality menu only shows options supported by the source video and playback device; a missing resolution does not necessarily indicate an account or broadband fault. If playback buffers, try a lower available resolution in Settings > Quality. YouTube explains its video quality settings.

For HD streaming on a TV, YouTube recommends a minimum connection speed of 7 Mbps. That is YouTube’s recommendation, not a guarantee that a particular Airtel plan or home connection will sustain HD continuously. Test the connection near the TV or streaming device: Wi-Fi signal strength and other network use can make the speed there different from a result measured elsewhere. YouTube’s streaming and video troubleshooting guidance recommends checking Wi-Fi range and interference and reducing other network activity if playback struggles.
Know why a playlist may not run unattended for 24 hours
Playlist Repeat does not bypass YouTube’s “Video paused. Continue watching?” prompt. According to YouTube Help, the prompt may appear after 30 minutes of uninterrupted autoplay on mobile, 60 minutes on the web, or 180 minutes on TV. You need to confirm playback to continue. The device-specific timings are described in YouTube’s guide to why YouTube asks “Continue watching?”.

That makes ordinary playlist looping useful for continuous viewing while someone can respond to prompts, but not a setting that guarantees unattended 24/7 playback. Autoplay preferences may also differ across devices; check the endpoint in use rather than assuming a setting made on a phone controls a TV or computer.
Troubleshoot looping, buffering, or a TV app that stops
- Check what you opened. Start a video from the intended playlist, rather than an individual video or a sequence of recommendations.
- Check the repeat state. The computer playlist panel should show Loop enabled; a TV should say Repeat • Playlist, not Repeat • Currently playing.
- Lower quality if playback buffers. Choose a lower resolution in the player’s Settings > Quality menu. YouTube notes that available quality and playback depend on the connection, screen, source upload, and browser or device support.
- Check Wi-Fi where the TV is. Test near the playback device, improve its router range, reduce interference, and limit other network use if the connection is weak.
- Restart or update the app and device. Reopen YouTube. If the problem remains, restart the TV or console and check for software updates. YouTube also suggests clearing the app cache for some mobile playback issues.
- Separate a device problem from a connection problem. Try another supported device, or play YouTube from a laptop connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. HDMI is only a fallback for TV-app playback trouble: it is not needed to loop a playlist, does not improve Airtel broadband, and is not a guaranteed fix for Wi-Fi buffering.
- Check your Airtel plan and actual speed. Plan speed and data allowance vary, and the provider name alone does not establish what your home connection can sustain. Check your current account details and measure performance near the playback device.
