U.S. spot XRP ETFs held $1.75 billion in net assets at the October 6, 2026 close, according to XRP Insights. For the September 28–October 2 trading week, TokenPost reported $4.7439 million in net inflows, citing SoSoValue. Those figures describe different things: assets held at a point in time versus reported net creations and redemptions over five trading days.

How much do XRP ETFs hold?

XRP Insights’ October 6, 2026 close snapshot puts the six U.S. spot XRP ETFs at $1.75 billion in net assets, representing 1.17 billion XRP. Its broader total rises to $1.78 billion and 1.19 billion XRP when it includes the Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF (BITW), which also holds XRP. BITW is a diversified index ETF, not one of the six spot XRP funds.

The six spot tickers in the tracker are XRPC, XRP, XRPZ, GXRP, TOXR and XRPR. XRP Insights says it reads fund holdings and net assets from issuer fund pages after daily net asset value publication. The tracker’s fund list and data are available in its XRP ETF tracker.

How much did XRP ETFs take in last week?

For the September 28–October 2, 2026 trading week, TokenPost reported $4.7439 million in net inflows to spot XRP ETFs, citing SoSoValue. TokenPost published the figure on October 4 and reported that Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ contributed the largest amount, $4.065 million. These are reported figures from a secondary account of SoSoValue data, not an independent issuer-by-issuer calculation in this article. TokenPost’s weekly report gives the attribution and period.

TokenPost separately reported $1.66 billion in net assets as of its October 4 publication. That is an earlier snapshot from a different source than XRP Insights’ October 6 total, so it should not be read as a contradiction or as a weekly flow figure.

Why do XRP ETF flow numbers differ?

“Net assets” and “net inflows” are not interchangeable. Net assets, often called AUM, are the current market value of a fund’s assets. They can move with XRP’s price as well as with creations and redemptions. Net inflows measure activity across a specified period. Neither number alone shows investor performance or establishes where XRP’s price will go.

There is also a methodology difference in the reported weekly flow data. XRP Insights defines daily flows as changes in issuer-reported XRP holdings. Its tracker currently excludes Grayscale’s GXRP from that flow series while it reconciles a holdings data gap, even though GXRP remains included in its AUM total. For September 28–October 2, the tracker showed a change of +406,200 XRP, which it valued at about $691,600 using its daily prices. That XRP-denominated holdings change is not directly comparable to TokenPost’s dollar-denominated net-inflow aggregate.

XRP Insights’ October 3 report explained a related correction: it revised the settled weekly holdings change to +0.4 million XRP excluding GXRP, or +6.0 million XRP including it. The earlier figure had counted GXRP’s delayed +5.6 million XRP holdings update as if it were a single-day flow. The tracker’s October 3 correction report describes that adjustment. Differences between the figures therefore reflect both the unit of measurement and the handling of GXRP data.

What these figures do—and do not—show

  • The $1.75 billion figure is spot-only net assets at the October 6 close; the $1.78 billion total includes BITW.
  • The $4.7439 million figure is a reported net inflow for the September 28–October 2 trading week, attributed by TokenPost to SoSoValue.
  • The separate XRP Insights flow figure tracks changes in XRP holdings and excludes GXRP while a data gap is reconciled.
  • Weekly inflows are one observation about fund activity, not proof of investor conviction, a measure of returns, or a reliable price forecast.
