Choose the XREAL 1 Pro+ if gaming responsiveness, a wide anchored view and built-in spatial positioning are your priorities. Choose the VITURE Pro XR if you want an exceptionally bright virtual cinema, aggressive light blocking, built-in myopia adjustment or the SpaceWalker multi-screen ecosystem. Both are $599 on their respective official stores at the time of comparison, and both are designed to receive video from handhelds, computers and consoles through compatible USB-C connections. Neither product is automatically compatible with every device: the source must provide video over USB-C, or you must add an appropriate adapter.
The decisive difference is not a simple winner in every category. XREAL publishes the wider field of view and a measured motion-to-photon figure, while VITURE publishes higher peak brightness, a larger claimed virtual-screen size and more detailed optical-adjustment specifications. The right choice depends on whether you value stable gaming geometry or maximum movie brightness and viewing flexibility.

Gaming: why XREAL has the stronger specification case
Screen width and aiming space
A 57° field of view gives the XREAL 1 Pro+ more horizontal viewing area than the VITURE Pro XR’s published 46°. In games, that can make menus, maps and peripheral action feel less cramped. It does not guarantee a wider image in every title: the rendered aspect ratio, game settings and the host device still determine what reaches the glasses.

Anchoring and motion
XREAL says its 3DoF processing is native to the glasses. In practical terms, the virtual screen can remain oriented in space as you move your head instead of behaving like an image that is rigidly tied to your face. The company also publishes 3ms motion-to-photon latency at 120Hz, a useful indicator for aiming and camera movement. That number is a manufacturer claim rather than a guarantee for every game, cable or device.
The optional XREAL Eye camera is a separate purchase and is described as enabling 6DoF spatial anchoring. Buyers should verify the camera’s current compatibility before ordering; the base glasses do not include it in the listed package.
What VITURE still does well for games
VITURE Pro XR also publishes 120Hz, so compatible games can target a high-refresh presentation. Its anti-ghost and anti-glare claims, plus the ability to tune the lenses for myopia, may matter more to a player who experiences blur or reflections with ordinary display glasses. VITURE does not publish a comparable motion-to-photon number in the supplied specifications, so it is not possible to declare equal latency from the refresh-rate figure alone.

Console and handheld expectations
Both companies position these products for handhelds, computers and consoles over USB-C-compatible connections. A Steam Deck or gaming PC must expose DisplayPort video through USB-C for a direct connection. A console such as a PlayStation 5 or Xbox normally needs an HDMI-to-USB-C video adapter or dock that converts the console’s output into a format the glasses accept. Adapter power, HDCP behavior, audio routing and refresh support can differ, so a statement that the glasses work with a console is not the same as a guarantee for every setup.
For competitive play, check the complete signal chain before buying: console or PC output, adapter specifications, cable, game resolution, refresh setting and headphones or speaker routing. No universal frame-rate or console result is established for either model without testing that exact chain.

- YOUR PRIVATE 147” BIG SCREEN, ANYWHERE — Plug the a01+ into your phone, tablet, handheld, or laptop and a giant 147” screen appears in front of you—for movies, gaming, or getting work done on the couch, on a flight, or in bed. A true portable display you wear, in a soda-can-sized 210g case that drops in your pocket.
- ALWAYS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU — The screen follows your view with smooth, stabilized tracking and stays centered as you look around—nothing to anchor or set up, and no drift to reset. Press play and your big screen is simply there.
- 62G — LIGHT ENOUGH TO FORGET — At just 62g, with three nose-pad sizes and flexible temples, the a01+ stays comfortable through a long movie or flight, even lying down.
- LOOKS LIKE SUNGLASSES, NOT A GADGET — A slim, sunglasses-style frame with a signature semi-transparent chassis and neon logo—light and low-profile enough to actually wear out.
- WORKS WITH YOUR USB-C GEAR — No Battery to Charge — Connects and powers over a single USB-C DisplayPort cable: iPhone 15/16/17, iPad, DP-capable Android phones, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Mac and PC. Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 and older (Lightning) iPhones need an adapter. For long phone sessions, add the XREAL Hub to charge and watch at once.
Movies: choosing between a wider anchored view and a brighter cinema effect
XREAL’s advantage for a stable, spacious frame
The XREAL 1 Pro+’s wider published view is useful when watching a widescreen film because the image occupies more of your visual field. XREAL provides a dedicated Movie mode alongside Standard and Reading modes, allowing the display behavior to be matched to video rather than text. Native 3DoF is also useful when you want the movie screen to remain in a chosen position while you look around.
VITURE’s advantage in bright or changing rooms
VITURE Pro XR is specified at 4000 nits peak and 1000 nits perceived brightness, with a claimed 135-inch virtual screen. Those are different measurements: peak brightness describes the display’s maximum output, while perceived brightness is the company’s stated viewing figure. The electrochromic film can block up to 99.5% of external light, which is valuable on a plane, in a bright living room or anywhere reflections are distracting.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →VITURE also describes UltraClarity edge-to-edge clarity, anti-glare and anti-ghost treatment. These are product claims rather than independent image-quality measurements, but they address common movie-viewing complaints such as soft corners, reflections and trailing around moving objects.
3D and source quality
VITURE lists native Full Side-by-Side 3D support and positions SpaceWalker for native 3D and VR video on supported devices. To use those formats, the player or app must output the expected side-by-side signal; a normal two-dimensional movie will not become stereoscopic automatically. XREAL’s supplied specifications do not list an equivalent native Full SBS claim.
Neither pair of glasses can restore detail missing from a low-resolution stream. The source file or service, USB-C video output, image scaling, room light and physical fit all influence perceived movie quality.

- 【iPhone 17/16/15 Series Support | Adapter Ultra Unlocks iOS XR Features】 Luma Ultra can display content from compatible USB-C video-output iPhone 17/16/15 series devices. For the full SpaceWalker experience on iOS, pair it with the USB-C XR Charging Adapter Ultra(Launching Soon) to enable features such as 3DoF head tracking and multi-screen functionality. iPhone 16e and iPhone 17 Air are not compatible with VITURE XR Glasses. Older adapters, including the standard USB-C XR Charging Adapter and HDMI XR Adapter, do not support Luma Ultra.
Optics, resolution and clarity
VITURE publishes unusually specific optical figures: 1920×1080 per eye, 100,000:1 contrast, 108% sRGB coverage and 49 pixels per degree. Those values make it easier to understand what the company is targeting, but they do not directly establish that every viewer will see a sharper image than with XREAL. XREAL lists Sony Micro-OLED displays, yet the supplied XREAL specification does not state per-eye resolution, contrast or pixel density.

In use, alignment often matters as much as panel resolution. If the image is sharp in the center but smeared at the edges, adjust the nose pads, IPD position and head angle before judging the panel. Glasses that sit unevenly can make one eye appear softer even when the displays are functioning normally.
Fit, IPD and vision correction
XREAL 1 Pro+
XREAL lists two physical IPD sizes: M for 57–66mm and L for 66–75mm. The official package includes three nose-pad sizes, giving you some ability to raise, lower or tilt the glasses for a clearer image. A prescription frame is included in the listed package, but it is supplied without prescription lenses. You must have lenses made separately if you need correction.
VITURE Pro XR
VITURE lists an IPD range of 56.5–70.5mm and built-in myopia adjustment from 0.0D to -5.0D. That means many nearsighted users can use the glasses without prescription inserts, although astigmatism, farsightedness and prescriptions outside that range may still require corrective lenses. The published adjustment does not establish suitability for every prescription; an optician should confirm your needs.
VITURE lists the Pro XR at 77g. A weight number alone does not predict comfort because cable position, nose pressure, temple shape and the distance between your eyes and the optics also matter. If several people will share the glasses, adjustable vision correction can be more convenient than ordering a dedicated prescription frame.

Audio and immersion
XREAL lists Bose sound as part of the 1 Pro+ specification. That can simplify a handheld or laptop setup because the glasses provide their own stated audio solution. You can still route sound to headphones or another output when privacy or higher fidelity matters.
The supplied VITURE Pro XR specifications do not state a named audio system or output performance. Confirm the current audio behavior for your phone, computer, console and adapter before assuming that sound will follow the video signal. On consoles, HDMI audio extraction and USB-C conversion can determine whether the glasses, a controller headset or external speakers receive sound.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Device compatibility and a reliable setup process
Use the following process for either product. It avoids the most common mistake: assuming that any USB-C socket carries video.
- Confirm video output. Check that the phone, handheld, tablet or computer supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. A USB-C port used only for charging or data will not produce an image.
- Check the cable and power path. Use the supplied or a known video-capable USB-C cable. Some adapters and consoles require external power; connect that power before troubleshooting the glasses.
- Connect the source directly first. Plug the glasses into the handheld or computer without a hub, capture card or extension. This isolates compatibility from other accessories.
- Select the correct display mode. On a computer, choose mirror or extended display in the operating system. On a handheld, enable external-display output if the device requires a toggle.
- Set refresh and resolution. Select a mode supported by both the source and the glasses. A game may offer 120Hz only at certain resolutions or in a performance mode.
- Set audio deliberately. Choose the glasses, controller, computer speakers or headphones as the output device. If video works but sound does not, treat audio routing as a separate issue.
- Adjust fit before judging image quality. Try the supplied nose pads on XREAL, set the appropriate IPD position, and adjust VITURE’s vision dial if you use its myopia correction.
Steam Deck
VITURE’s store explicitly lists Steam Deck compatibility. XREAL positions its glasses for handhelds, but the exact Steam Deck result depends on the Deck’s USB-C video output, operating-system settings and whether a dock is used. Direct connection is the simplest test; a powered dock may be necessary for charging and peripherals at the same time.
Gaming PC and Mac
Both products are intended for computers with compatible USB-C video output. If your desktop lacks DisplayPort-over-USB-C, use a video adapter designed for the glasses rather than a passive charging cable. Multi-monitor features may require operating-system configuration or, for VITURE, SpaceWalker on a supported device.

Please confirm your device, OS, app, and connection method before purchase if these features are important to you.
PlayStation and Xbox
VITURE’s store lists gaming-console compatibility, and both brands describe console use. In practice, these consoles commonly output HDMI, so you should budget for an HDMI-to-USB-C adapter or dock that supports the desired resolution, refresh rate and HDCP behavior. Verify the adapter model and power requirements before purchase; the glasses alone do not convert HDMI.
Software ecosystems
XREAL display modes and optional camera
XREAL provides Standard, Movie and Reading modes to tune the display for different content. Native 3DoF is available without an app or camera. Adding XREAL Eye is the route XREAL describes for 6DoF anchoring, but it is sold separately and should be checked for current model support.
VITURE SpaceWalker
SpaceWalker is positioned as VITURE’s companion application for multi-screen work, native 3D and VR video, and supported phones and computers. Its value is highest if you regularly want several virtual monitors or use compatible 3D content. App support, operating-system requirements and available features can change, so check the current compatibility list before relying on it for a particular workflow.
Price, box contents and total ownership cost

| Nose pads | Three sizes listed | Not stated |
| Prescription solution | Prescription frame included without lenses | Built-in 0.0D to -5.0D adjustment |
| Protective accessories | Cleaning cloth, protective case and manual listed | Not stated in the supplied store details |
| Optional spatial accessory | XREAL Eye camera for 6DoF, sold separately | SpaceWalker software; compatible mobile-dock accessories may be required for some devices |
The purchase price is only part of the budget. XREAL buyers who need prescription lenses pay separately for lens fabrication, and buyers seeking 6DoF must add the Eye camera. VITURE users may need a dock or adapter for a console, computer without USB-C video, or a phone that cannot power and output video through one port. Because accessory bundles and stock change, confirm the current store contents before checkout.
Common problems and fixes
No image
- Verify that the source USB-C port supports DisplayPort video.
- Reconnect the cable directly, then test without a hub or dock.
- Provide external power to the adapter or dock if its instructions require it.
- Test another video-capable cable and a lower supported resolution.
Image is present but not sharp
- Center the glasses and adjust the nose position.
- Set the correct XREAL IPD size or VITURE IPD/vision adjustment.
- Clean both optical surfaces with the supplied or an appropriate microfiber cloth.
- Check each eye separately; persistent one-eye blur may indicate a prescription or fit issue rather than a software setting.
Motion feels delayed
- Confirm the game is actually running at its selected refresh mode; a 120Hz-capable display does not force a game to render at 120 frames per second.
- Remove capture cards, wireless links and unnecessary adapters from the signal path.
- Use a direct connection and compare the game’s performance mode with its quality mode.
Video works but audio does not
- Select the glasses or the intended headset as the operating-system output.
- Check whether the console adapter passes audio as well as video.
- Test the source’s volume and mute controls independently of the glasses’ display.
Which one should you buy?
Buy XREAL 1 Pro+ when
- You want the widest published view for games and films.
- You care about native 3DoF screen anchoring and a published 3ms motion-to-photon figure.
- You prefer dedicated Standard, Movie and Reading modes.
- Bose sound and included fit accessories are useful to you.
- You are willing to purchase prescription lenses or the optional Eye camera if needed.
Buy VITURE Pro XR when
- Your priority is a bright, cinema-like presentation in rooms with changing light.
- You want electrochromic film with up to 99.5% external-light blocking.
- You need built-in myopia adjustment from 0.0D to -5.0D.
- You value published per-eye resolution, contrast, color-gamut and pixel-density figures.
- You plan to use SpaceWalker for multi-screen work or supported 3D/VR video.
At the same $599 list price observed in 2026, the decision is primarily about the experience and accessories rather than the initial cost. XREAL is the more convincing gaming choice on published latency, anchoring and field-of-view specifications. VITURE is the more versatile movie and vision-correction choice on published brightness, light blocking, screen-size and myopia-adjustment claims.
