Xiaomi’s heated sofa was reported as a real product, but it was not a new 2026 launch. A June 5, 2020 report identified it as the Xiaomi Qifeng electric sofa and described it as a China-market product; no confirmed international release or current sale is established by the available listings.
What the 2020 report said the Qifeng sofa offered
WebArCondicionado’s June 5, 2020 report called the product the Xiaomi Qifeng electric sofa. It described upholstery resembling synthetic leather, built-in heating with adjustable temperature, and both manual and smartphone controls. Black, white, and gray were the reported color options.
The report gave a starting price of 1,599 yuan. That is a historical launch-price claim, not a current selling price, delivered import cost, or indication that the sofa remains available.
How the heating and smart controls worked is unclear
The report establishes only that integrated heating and temperature adjustment were advertised. It does not specify the heating-element type, zones, maximum temperature, warm-up time, power draw, timer, automatic shutoff, or overheating protection. It also does not say whether the seat, back, or other sections were heated. Calling the system infrared, graphene, or energy-efficient would go beyond the documented details.

- COMFY SEATING: Measures 86" W x 38.5" D x 44.5" H. Seat depth: 20.5". Seat height: 20.25". Arm height: 26.25". Distance between arms: 71.25". Fully reclined length: 71"
- LIGHT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED: Simply snap seat back to unit and plug into the wall for instant enjoyment. Distance between recliner and wall should be at least 8.75". 132" power cord included; UL listed
Smartphone control was also reported, but the app, hub requirements, voice-assistant support, remote access, and account-region requirements were not identified. There is no basis to assume compatibility with current Xiaomi Home or HyperOS, or that the sofa will pair with an account set to a region outside mainland China.
Is it available to buy now?
No current official Qifeng heated-sofa product listing is established by the available Xiaomi storefront results, and the 2020 report said no launch outside China was planned at that time. This does not prove the sofa could not appear through resale or a third-party seller; it means current stock and a verified international release are not confirmed.

Several current Xiaomi ecosystem furniture listings are not evidence of a Qifeng successor. Xiaomi’s storefront shows an 8H Relaxed Comfort Sofa; the surfaced listing described a conventional sofa, not integrated heating. A separate 8H Real-Leather Electric Leisure Sofa listing describes powered reclining, not heating. Xiaomi ecosystem and Youpin listings can involve partner brands; a product appearing there does not by itself establish that Xiaomi manufactured it.
When a marketplace calls a listing a “Xiaomi heated sofa,” check whether it is actually the Qifeng model, another ecosystem brand, an ordinary sofa bundled with a heated pad, or an unrelated Xiaomi-compatible product. Confirm the manufacturer and model rather than relying on the platform name or headline.

What to check before importing a China-market heated sofa
A large electrical furniture purchase is difficult to reverse if its power supply, controls, or service arrangements do not fit your location. The Qifeng’s voltage, frequency, plug, wattage, certifications, and current app support are not established in the cited report, so do not infer them from other Xiaomi products.
- Model and maker: Get the exact model name and manufacturer in writing; distinguish Xiaomi, Mijia, 8H, and other Youpin partner brands.
- Electrical fit: Verify voltage, frequency, plug, maximum power, and any required fuse from the product label or manual. A plug adapter does not resolve a voltage mismatch.
- Heating and safety: Ask for documentation on heated areas, temperature settings, thermal cutoffs, timers, moisture, cleaning, and safe use with blankets or cushions. Do not assume it is safe to sleep on, leave unattended, or use around children, pets, or people with reduced heat sensitivity.
- Software: Confirm the app name, region/account requirements, hub needs, and whether the controls work without an internet connection.
- Delivery and service: Check doorway and elevator dimensions, freight and customs costs, damage claims, return shipping, warranty coverage, local repair options, and availability of replacement controllers or heating parts.
- Use without heat: Judge the sofa’s comfort and build as furniture in its own right; smart functions and heating components can become unusable before the sofa does.
Without verified wattage and realistic use time, a running-cost estimate would be speculation. Without a model-specific safety manual, no product-specific assurance about overheating protection or cleaning can be made.

Other Xiaomi ecosystem products are not the same sofa
Xiaomi’s surfaced storefront pages include a Smart Electric Blanket and a Mijia Smart Electric Heater. They are different product categories, not evidence that the Qifeng sofa is currently sold or that either item has the same functionality. Their prices and current regional availability are not established here.
A heated blanket or seat pad may offer localized warmth without importing furniture, while a room heater serves a different purpose. A powered reclining sofa adds movement, not necessarily heat. Check the exact product documentation and electrical suitability for your market before buying any of these alternatives.
