Battery and charging: larger stated capacity, but no endurance test
The reported Redmi battery is 2,540mAh larger on paper than Samsung’s 5,000mAh typical figure, and the Redmi coverage specifies 100W wired charging. Samsung’s cited specification table does not give a charging rate. These figures describe stated capacity and charging hardware, not tested battery life or a guaranteed charging time: actual endurance and charging depend on use and conditions.
Display and size
Both phones are listed at up to 120Hz. The Redmi’s reported panel is 6.59 inches with 1.5K resolution; Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ panel. Samsung’s published body dimensions make it 1.28mm thinner and 25g lighter than the reported Redmi measurements. Display size, resolution and refresh rate alone do not establish which screen looks better in use.

Camera hardware is not a photo-quality verdict
The reported Redmi setup has a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. Samsung lists a 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro array. The front cameras are reported as 20MP for Redmi and listed as 12MP for Samsung. Camera counts and megapixels do not establish image quality; no comparative photo testing is available here.

Samsung’s announcement lists Android 16 and promises up to six OS generations and up to six years of security updates for supported Galaxy devices; check terms for the exact regional model. Redmi’s four OS upgrades and six years of security updates are reported in secondary launch coverage and should be confirmed with Xiaomi for the market where the phone is sold.

- Compare local prices before deciding on value. The cited Redmi prices are Indian launch amounts, while Samsung’s cited figures are US and Japan prices; they cannot answer which costs less where you live.
