1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe Redmi Turbo 5 is listed at ₹41,999 in a third-party retail snapshot, while OPPO India listed the Reno16 5G from ₹66,999 as of 31 August 2026. That makes the apparent gap ₹25,000 against the Reno16’s 8GB/256GB version, but it is not a guaranteed live-price or matched-configuration comparison. On listed specifications, Redmi offers a larger screen and higher battery capacity; the India Reno16 has an officially specified 50MP 3.5x optical telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide rear cameras.
Price difference in India
OPPO India listed the Reno16 5G at ₹66,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and ₹72,999 for 12GB/256GB, as of 31 August 2026. The listed prices included taxes and were subject to change. The page also described bank discounts, exchange bonuses and no-cost EMI offers on that date; those offers may change or be withdrawn.

91mobiles displayed an Amazon listing of ₹41,999 for the Redmi Turbo 5 and ₹66,999 for the Reno16 when its comparison page was crawled. Comparing the Redmi figure with OPPO’s lower Reno16 configuration gives a ₹25,000 difference. Treat that as a dated retail snapshot, not a market-wide price or a guaranteed current checkout price; the Redmi listing’s exact configuration and regional version are not established by that price display. Check the live listing, seller and SKU before buying.
Which Reno16 model is this?
This comparison refers to the India OPPO Reno16 5G, model CPH2865. OPPO identifies the Reno16c 5G as a separate India model, CPH2859, and says specifications and prices vary across countries. Do not treat the Reno16c, Reno16 Pro or an overseas Reno16 variant as interchangeable with CPH2865.

What the specification differences mean
Screen size: Redmi is the larger-format option
The comparison listings give the Redmi a 6.59-inch display and the Reno16 a 6.32-inch display. That makes Redmi the larger listed screen; the Reno16 is the smaller-format choice. The listed resolutions and refresh rates do not establish which panel looks better in use.
Cameras: Reno16 lists more rear-lens variety
OPPO India specifies a 50MP 3.5x optical telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide camera for the India Reno16. Redmi’s comparison-table setup is a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. This makes the Reno16’s stated rear-camera system more varied on paper, but megapixel counts and lens types alone do not establish photo quality. The 50MP ultra-wide selfie-camera claim comes from OPPO’s global series announcement; regional specifications can differ, so check CPH2865’s full specification sheet.

Battery: capacity is not a runtime test
Comparison sources list a 7,540mAh battery and 100W charging for Redmi. OPPO India specifies 6,700mAh typical capacity (6,490mAh rated) and 80W SUPERVOOC for its Reno16 CPH2865. Those figures describe capacity and charging specifications, not how long either phone lasts under comparable use. A comparison-page battery-run figure does not establish a general endurance advantage because matching test conditions and methodology are not provided.
Performance and software: listed platforms, not measured outcomes
The reported chipsets are MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra for Redmi and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for Reno16. The available comparison listings do not establish comparative everyday speed or benchmark performance. They also list Android 16 with HyperOS 3 for Redmi and Android 16 with ColorOS 16 for Reno16; an update-support commitment for Redmi is not established by a primary source in the cited material.

Durability: ratings need their conditions
The comparison table reports IP69K for Redmi; OPPO India lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for CPH2865. Ratings are tied to specified test conditions and do not mean either phone is waterproof in every situation. Confirm the regional product’s rating and its applicable terms rather than relying on a similarly named model’s specifications.

Which phone should you consider?
- Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if a larger listed display and higher listed battery capacity are priorities, and you can verify that the price and specifications apply to the exact regional version you intend to buy.
- Consider the OPPO Reno16 India 5G if you want the officially specified 3.5x optical telephoto and ultra-wide rear-camera combination, or prefer its smaller listed display. Its official India price varies by memory configuration.
- Compare exact listings before deciding: verify region, model number, RAM/storage, seller and current checkout price. The Redmi specifications here come from comparison sources rather than a retrieved Xiaomi/Redmi manufacturer page; neither phone has comparable hands-on results established here for speed, camera quality or real-world battery life.
