What is the price difference in India?
On October 5, 2026, Motorola’s India storefront showed the Edge 70 Pro Plus 12/256 GB at ₹47,999, reduced from a listed MRP of ₹84,999. Comparison pages place the Redmi Turbo 5 around ₹41,999 and the Motorola around ₹46,979–₹47,999. Battery and charging: Xiaomi has the larger listed capacity
Smartprix lists a 7,540 mAh battery for the Redmi Turbo 5 and 6,500 mAh for the Motorola. Comparison listings report 100 W wired charging for Xiaomi and 90 W for Motorola. These figures make the Redmi the stronger paper choice for capacity and stated wired charging, but capacity alone does not establish longer real-world battery life. The available comparison evidence does not provide a controlled, directly comparable endurance result.
Actual charging time can depend on the supplied or compatible charger, cable, temperature and charging conditions. Confirm what is included with the exact regional retail package rather than assuming a charger is in the box.

Display: Motorola is larger and has the higher refresh-rate figure
Smartprix lists the Motorola screen at 6.78 inches and 144 Hz, compared with 6.59 inches and 120 Hz for the Xiaomi. Motorola’s display is therefore larger on the listed diagonal and has a higher stated maximum refresh rate. That may suit someone who prefers more screen area or prioritizes smooth motion, while the smaller listed Xiaomi panel may appeal to a buyer seeking a more compact screen. These specifications alone do not establish brightness, color accuracy, outdoor legibility or overall display quality.

Smartprix lists three 50 MP rear cameras on the Motorola: main, periscope telephoto and ultrawide. Its Xiaomi listing has a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The extra telephoto camera gives Motorola more listed framing flexibility for distant subjects; it does not prove better photos. Megapixel counts and lens labels cannot establish image processing, low-light performance or video quality, and there is no comparable hands-on camera test in the cited specifications.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi Turbo 5 if its reported battery capacity and 100 W wired charging are your priorities, and you can confirm the correct regional model, configuration and seller.
- Choose the Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G if you prefer the larger 144 Hz display, want a listed periscope telephoto alongside main and ultrawide cameras, or find its live offer price worthwhile.
