The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is the higher-spec choice on display resolution, listed rear-camera resolution and maximum wired charging; the OPPO F33 5G has a larger stated battery and a lower official India launch starting price. OPPO announced F33 prices from ₹31,999, while a comparison page showed a ₹39,999 Redmi listing—though that retail snapshot is not a like-for-like or guaranteed current price. Compare the exact memory variants and live prices before deciding.
India price difference: compare the memory variant, not just the starting price
OPPO India announced three F33 5G launch configurations on 15 April 2026. Its announced availability date was 26 April 2026. Xiaomi’s product specifications list three Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G configurations, but the cited comparison page displayed only one Redmi price and did not clearly identify the OPPO configuration.

| Phone and memory | Price | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| OPPO F33 5G, 6GB/128GB | ₹31,999 | OPPO India launch price, announced 15 April 2026 |
| OPPO F33 5G, 8GB/128GB | ₹34,999 | OPPO India launch price, announced 15 April 2026 |
| OPPO F33 5G, 8GB/256GB | ₹37,999 | OPPO India launch price, announced 15 April 2026 |
| Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, 8GB/256GB | ₹39,999 | Price displayed on a comparison page; volatile retail listing, not an official fixed price |
| OPPO F33 5G, configuration unclear | ₹34,999 | Price displayed on the same comparison page; the listing did not identify its memory configuration |
At those figures, OPPO’s announced 8GB/256GB launch price was ₹2,000 below the displayed ₹39,999 Redmi listing. That is the closest listed storage match, but it compares an official launch price with a changing retail snapshot. Check the exact variant, seller and current price at purchase; discounts and availability can change the difference.

These are maker-published specifications, not comparative laboratory results. The brightness figures use different labels—peak brightness for Xiaomi and typical high-brightness mode for OPPO—so they should not be treated as directly comparable test measurements. Manufacturer-rated battery capacity and charging power also do not establish real-world battery life or charging time.

Display: Xiaomi lists the larger, higher-resolution panel
Xiaomi specifies a 6.83-inch, 1.5K AMOLED display at 2772 × 1280, with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. OPPO lists a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel at 2372 × 1080, with adaptive 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz modes. On the published size and resolution figures, the Redmi offers more screen area and pixels; OPPO’s page specifies adaptive refresh-rate options.
The makers report brightness differently: Xiaomi gives a 3200-nit peak figure, while OPPO gives 1400 nits for typical high-brightness mode. Those labels are not an apples-to-apples brightness test, so the specifications alone do not establish which screen will look brighter in every setting.

Cameras: higher megapixel counts are not a photo-quality verdict
The Redmi’s listed rear hardware is a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome rear camera. Xiaomi also specifies a 32MP front camera, compared with 16MP on the standard F33.
Do not confuse the F33 with the F33 Pro
OPPO’s launch material discusses the F33-series selfie system, but the 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera applies to the F33 Pro, not the standard F33 covered here. The F33 specification lists a 16MP front camera. A larger pixel count on the Redmi’s main sensor does not by itself prove better photos, and no independent head-to-head camera test is established here.

Battery and charging: OPPO lists more capacity; Xiaomi lists higher wattage
OPPO specifies a 7000mAh typical battery (6830mAh rated) and support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Xiaomi lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 100W wired charging, with a 100W charger in the box. These figures point to different priorities: the F33 has the higher stated capacity, while the Redmi has the higher rated charging power. They do not show which phone lasts longer between charges or how quickly either one charges in use.
Processor, memory and storage: choose for your workload and variant
Xiaomi lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4; OPPO lists the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX. Without comparable benchmark results, those processor names alone are not enough to declare one phone faster. If storage matters, note that Xiaomi offers up to 512GB in the listed configurations, while OPPO’s listed maximum is 256GB. The lower OPPO entry price is for 6GB/128GB, not the same configuration as the Redmi’s listed 8GB/256GB base option.

SIM support and durability caveats
Xiaomi lists dual nano-SIM or nano-SIM plus eSIM, with eSIM availability dependent on region and carrier. OPPO lists dual SIM and says eSIM is unsupported. Confirm local network bands and carrier compatibility before buying, especially if you need eSIM.

Both brands publish dust- and water-resistance ratings, but neither should be described as waterproof. Xiaomi cautions that protection depends on test conditions and may deteriorate. OPPO describes laboratory testing under ISO 20653:2023 and likewise says protection is not permanent; its page states that liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Ratings do not guarantee protection in every real-world situation.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G if the larger, higher-resolution listed display, 200MP OIS main-camera specification, 100W charging rating, eSIM option where supported, or 512GB storage tier matters most.
- Consider the OPPO F33 5G if its larger stated typical battery, lower official launch starting price, or 8GB/256GB launch tier suits your priorities. Its lowest announced price is for 6GB/128GB, so compare storage and memory as well as price.
- Use live, like-for-like prices for the memory configuration you want. The quoted ₹39,999 Redmi figure is a retail listing snapshot, while OPPO’s tiered figures are launch prices; neither guarantees today’s checkout price.
- Do not decide on an unverified performance claim. The published processor, camera, battery and charging specifications do not replace independent side-by-side tests.
