A Smartprix comparison snapshot listed the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G at ₹39,999 and the Motorola Edge 70 at ₹31,750—a difference of ₹8,249 in favor of Motorola. These are volatile third-party observed prices, not verified live checkout prices or official MSRPs. The snapshot does not establish that the phones had matching memory and storage configurations.

Choose Redmi for a larger screen and faster wired charging
The Redmi has a 6.83-inch display compared with the Edge 70’s 6.67-inch panel, and Xiaomi lists 100 W wired charging with a charger in the India box contents. Its listed 6500 mAh typical capacity is also greater than Motorola’s 4800 mAh. Capacity alone does not establish longer battery life: no comparable standardized runtime test is available here.

Choose Edge 70 for lower weight and wireless charging
The cited Edge 70 configuration weighs 159 g, while Xiaomi’s listed Redmi colors weigh 207.1 g or 208.0 g. Motorola also lists 15 W wireless charging, which Xiaomi’s cited specifications do not list for the Redmi. The Edge 70’s stated 68 W wired charging is slower on paper than the Redmi’s 100 W figure; verify local charger support and what is included with the phone.
Compare camera setups by what you shoot—not megapixels alone
Xiaomi specifies a 200 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. Motorola specifies a 50 MP OIS main camera and a 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus and macro capability. These figures describe different camera configurations; megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos. No comparative image-quality test is established by the cited specifications.

Check software-support claims and regional protection ratings
Xiaomi’s India product overview advertises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Motorola’s cited specification page does not state a directly comparable support duration, so check the policy for the exact regional model rather than assuming it matches Xiaomi’s claim. Protection ratings above are also manufacturer claims for the cited regional listings; they should not be generalized to every market variant.
