The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the stronger pick for a larger screen, a higher-resolution main camera and a bigger listed battery. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is lighter, charges faster over a cable and was listed about ₹7,000 cheaper in India when we checked. Which one makes sense depends on what you weight most, and on which exact configuration and market you are buying into.
Xiaomi’s product page and TechRadar’s review cover the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G specifically, so that is the model compared here. The title’s shorter name refers to the same phone. TechRadar’s Motorola review covers an Edge 60 Fusion with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the Motorola specifications below follow that configuration unless a source says otherwise.

Display: size against curvature
The Redmi has the larger panel, at 6.83 inches against 6.7 inches, and more pixels across, 2772 × 1280 against 2712 × 1220. Both run at 120Hz. The difference in pixel count is modest, and the extra diagonal matters most if you watch video or read on a bigger screen.

The Motorola’s screen is a quad-curved pOLED. Curved edges suit some hands and bother others, with accidental touches at the edges being the usual complaint. Treat that as a matter of preference rather than a quality difference. The Redmi uses a flat AMOLED panel.
Performance and benchmark scores
The Motorola scores 3,050 on Geekbench multi-core against the Redmi’s 2,938, according to a 91mobiles comparison page. That is a single synthetic test, and the page does not state the exact memory configuration of the Redmi it tested. A gap of about four percent in one benchmark does not tell you which phone will feel faster in daily use, where thermal behaviour, software and storage speed also matter.
The chipset is also a complication. TechRadar’s Motorola review names the Dimensity 7300, while the 91mobiles page pairs the Edge with the Dimensity 7400. Both pages cannot be right for every market. If the processor is important to you, check the chipset in the exact listing you are buying.

Cameras: resolution is not the whole story
The Redmi’s main camera is 200MP with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation. Xiaomi India’s product page also lists a 1/1.4-inch sensor. The Motorola’s main camera is 50MP with OIS. The Redmi also has the higher-resolution main sensor, but a high pixel count mainly means more detail in good light. It does not guarantee better photos overall.
The Motorola’s ultrawide is 13MP, against 8MP on the Redmi. The Motorola front camera is 32MP, against 20MP on the Redmi. These are hardware figures from the reviews. Image quality depends on processing, and no side-by-side camera test is available in the sources reviewed for this comparison. If you take many photos in low light, look for dedicated camera tests before deciding.
Battery and charging
The Redmi carries the larger listed battery at 6,580mAh, and TechRadar’s reviewer reported that it “lasted plenty long enough during everyday use.” That is one reviewer’s experience, not a measured endurance result.

The Motorola’s battery figure is unsettled. TechRadar lists 5,200mAh, and Smartprix lists 5,500mAh. Even at the higher figure, the Motorola’s battery is smaller than the Redmi’s. The Motorola charges faster by cable at 68W, against 45W on the Redmi, according to TechRadar. Charge speed matters if you often need a quick top-up, while a larger battery matters more for multi-day use. Neither review reports a head-to-head charging time, so the speed difference is a rated figure rather than a timed result.
Weight, design and build
At 178g, the Motorola is 32g lighter than the Redmi at 210g. In a pocket or during long one-hand use, that gap is noticeable. The Motorola’s curved screen also changes how it sits in the hand.
TechRadar describes the Edge 60 Fusion as shipping with a case that it calls flimsy. If you buy the Motorola, budget for a case, and confirm that any model-specific case you choose fits the exact model and storage variant.

Software support
Both phones launched with Android 15. The Redmi runs HyperOS 2, Xiaomi’s interface, and TechRadar reports four years of OS upgrades and six years of security patches. The Motorola’s review reports three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
These are figures from the reviews, not guaranteed commitments. Support terms can vary by region and by seller, so check the manufacturer’s current policy for your market before relying on them. If you dislike Xiaomi’s software layer, the Motorola interface may suit you better, but neither review frames that as a deciding factor.

Price difference: what the ₹7,000 gap means
When checked, Smartprix’s comparison page showed ₹31,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and ₹24,999 for the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, a displayed difference of ₹7,000. Listing prices change daily, and the page does not confirm which RAM and storage configuration each price refers to, or whether discounts, bank offers or stock levels are included. Treat the gap as a snapshot, and compare the same configuration across retailers before you buy.

Outside India the picture is less clear. TechRadar reported launch pricing for the Redmi of £349 (about AU$699) for 8GB/256GB, with £399 for 12GB/512GB in some markets. No current official price for the Motorola in the UK or Australia was established, so the two markets cannot be compared directly.

Which phone fits your priorities
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if you want the bigger screen, the larger battery, the higher-resolution main camera and the longer promised update period. It is the better fit if these matter more to you than weight or charging speed.
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion if you want the lighter phone, faster wired charging or a curved screen, or if the listed price is lower in your market. Check the battery capacity and chipset on the listing before buying.
- Check the exact configuration first. Compare the same RAM and storage options, and confirm the chipset, battery and charger in the box on the retailer’s page, since the sources disagree on several of these details.
For more detail on the Redmi, read TechRadar’s Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G review and the Xiaomi India product page. For the Motorola, read TechRadar’s Edge 60 Fusion review. The full specification and price comparison is on Smartprix, and the benchmark comparison is on 91mobiles.
