It combines a 20,000mAh-equivalent battery, a built-in USB-C cable, a separate USB-C port and a USB-A port. The pack can connect to three devices, but Xiaomi specifies only 15W total theoretical output when two or more charging paths are active, so the 45W headline applies to single-device charging rather than three simultaneous 45W feeds.
What the new Xiaomi 45W power bank is
The model is a travel-focused battery pack built from two 10,000mAh cells, which Xiaomi describes as equivalent to a 20,000mAh battery. Its maximum 45W bidirectional charging works through both the integrated USB-C cable and the dedicated USB-C port. Bidirectional means those connections can charge a device or recharge the power bank itself, subject to the charger, cable and device used.

The integrated cable removes the need to carry a separate USB-C lead for compatible phones, tablets, earbuds and other USB-C equipment. A USB-A socket remains available for older cables and accessories.

Xiaomi says up to three devices can be connected at once. Its specification note also says the total theoretical output is 15W when two or more devices are charging simultaneously. In practical terms, plugging in a phone, watch and earbuds turns the pack into a shared 15W supply; it does not provide 45W to each device. For the fastest top-up, charge one device at a time through the built-in cable or USB-C port.

How fast it can charge a phone
Xiaomi reports that a Xiaomi 17 Ultra reached 42% in 30 minutes under specified laboratory conditions. That is a vendor test result, not a guaranteed field performance figure. Actual speed depends on the phone model, battery temperature, software, charging state, cable, remaining power in the pack and whether another device is connected.
The listed compatibility modes include QC2.0, QC3.0, USB Power Delivery 2.0 and 3.0, PPS, BC1.2, Apple 2.4A, SCP, AFC, FCP and DCP. Xiaomi warns that device and software conditions can change the result. A 3A-or-higher USB-C cable is required to obtain 45W through the USB-C port; the integrated cable is designed for the pack’s stated charging capability.

The 74Wh rating is below the commonly used 100Wh threshold for personal power banks, and Xiaomi labels the product suitable for air travel under its stated conditions. Airline policies can differ, so keep the pack in carry-on baggage and check the specific carrier’s rules before flying. Do not put it in checked luggage.
Safety features
Xiaomi says the pack has 16 protective designs and describes it as meeting current safety standards with 45W bidirectional fast charging. The listed protections include overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, short circuit, crush, nail penetration, hot-box, overcharge and lithium-plating protection. Xiaomi notes that nail-penetration, compression, hot-box, overcharge and lithium-plating results are tied to stated test conditions; they should not be read as a guarantee against every form of damage or misuse.

What is still unknown
Neither Xiaomi’s global listing nor reporting dated October 14, 2026 established a price, a precise on-sale date or country-by-country retail stock. There is no confirmed checkout availability to use as a universal launch date. Retailer prices, delivery estimates and marketplace listings that appear later should be checked for the buyer’s country and date because they can change.
Who should consider it
- Frequent travelers: the built-in USB-C cable reduces the number of loose accessories in a bag, while 74Wh keeps the stated airline rating clear.
- Single-device fast chargers: the 45W USB-C capability is the main benefit when one compatible phone is connected.
- Mixed-device users: the USB-C, integrated USB-C and USB-A combination can connect three devices, but the 15W shared ceiling makes simultaneous charging a convenience feature rather than a fast-charging mode.
- Buyers comparing alternatives: check peak single-port wattage, whether a cable is built in, multi-device total output, watt-hours, protocol support, dimensions, weight, price and regional availability.
The Bottom Line
The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 45W Boost (Integrated Cable) is a 74Wh, 20,000mAh-equivalent pack with a useful built-in USB-C lead and up to 45W single-device charging. Its three charging paths are convenient for travel, but simultaneous charging is limited to 15W total in Xiaomi’s specification, and price and retail timing remain unannounced.
