The OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini is the more compact phone, while the Xiaomi 17T has a larger display and a higher listed battery capacity. Their camera specifications also differ: OPPO lists higher-resolution sensors across its rear cameras, while Xiaomi’s spec sheet includes a 115mm-equivalent periscope telephoto. Those figures describe hardware, not proven image quality. For India pricing, OPPO’s announced launch prices are available, but Xiaomi’s price cited here is a third-party snapshot rather than a confirmed live quote.

Which phone is smaller, and what are the display differences?
OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini: smaller listed screen
OPPO lists a 6.32-inch AMOLED display at 2640 × 1216 resolution, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is the smaller-screen option on the published specifications, which may suit people prioritising a more compact phone. Screen measurements alone do not establish one-handed comfort or overall dimensions.

91mobiles lists the Xiaomi 17T with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, 2756 × 1268 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That gives it the larger listed panel; whether that is preferable depends on whether you value screen space more than compactness.

How do the cameras compare?
Rear cameras
Xiaomi lists a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto with a 115mm-equivalent focal length, and a 12MP ultra-wide. OPPO lists a 200MP main, 50MP telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide camera; its launch announcement describes the telephoto as offering 3.5× optical zoom.
The hardware points to different specifications, but megapixel counts and zoom labels do not establish which phone takes better photos. No comparative camera test is established here, so treat these as a guide to camera roles rather than a verdict on image quality.

Front cameras
OPPO specifies a 50MP front camera with a 100° field of view, while Xiaomi lists a 32MP front camera. Sensor resolution and field of view do not, by themselves, prove which phone produces better selfies or video calls.
Performance: what the chipset and benchmark figures show
OPPO’s launch release names the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 for the Reno15 Pro Mini. 91mobiles lists the Xiaomi 17T with a Dimensity 8500 Ultra. The chipset names alone are not enough to determine day-to-day speed, gaming performance or sustained behaviour.

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 6,860 for Xiaomi and 6,387 for OPPO, as well as AnTuTu scores of 2,136,906 and 2,141,052, respectively. Those are figures reported by that publisher; the comparison page does not establish enough test-protocol detail, software build information or repeatability to treat them as universal performance predictions.
Battery capacity and charging
91mobiles lists a 6,500mAh battery and 67W charging for Xiaomi. OPPO announced a 6,200mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging for the Reno15 Pro Mini. These are published capacities and rated charging specifications, not results from a controlled, same-condition endurance or charging test.

91mobiles also reports PCMark battery figures of 14 hours 45 minutes for Xiaomi and 9 hours 54 minutes for OPPO. Because the accessible comparison does not establish the test conditions or repeatability, those results should be read as that publisher’s figures, not as a reliable prediction of how long either phone will last for a particular user.
India price difference and launch availability
OPPO India announced the Reno15 Pro Mini at ₹59,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹64,999 for 12GB+512GB in its 8 January 2026 launch release. The company said the Reno15 series would be available for purchase from 13 January 2026. These are historical launch prices, not a guarantee of today’s selling price.

When checked on 5 October 2026, 91mobiles displayed ₹69,999 for Xiaomi 17T and ₹59,999 for OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini. These third-party figures are a page snapshot, not verified live checkout prices, and the displayed comparison does not establish equivalent storage configurations. Check the model, storage, seller, availability, offers and final checkout total before drawing a current price comparison.
OPPO’s launch release names Amazon India among its sales channels, but that does not establish current stock or any affiliate terms. See OPPO India’s launch announcement for the announced prices and sale date.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Reno15 Pro Mini if you want the smaller listed screen, are comparing its higher-resolution camera hardware, or prefer OPPO’s announced 80W charging specification. These specifications do not guarantee better camera results or shorter real-world charging times.
- Consider the Xiaomi 17T if you prefer the larger listed display, want the 115mm-equivalent periscope telephoto specified by Xiaomi, or prioritise the higher battery capacity listed by 91mobiles.
- Compare prices only after matching storage. OPPO’s announced prices distinguish 12GB+256GB from 12GB+512GB; the cited Xiaomi snapshot is not a confirmed live quote for a matching configuration.
OPPO India’s launch release includes a statement by Goldee Patnaik, its Head of Communications, about the company’s view of consumer expectations. That is a company representative’s characterization, not an independently verified market statistic.
