The XGIMI TITAN Noir Pro looks compelling on paper: XGIMI lists 4K resolution, RGB triple laser, 6,000 ISO lumens, extensive placement adjustments, and gaming modes with very low claimed latency. But those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. The key buying question is whether its room-fit flexibility and feature set suit your setup—and whether you can verify the image performance you expect before spending premium-projector money.
What does the TITAN Noir Pro offer?
XGIMI’s French product listing describes the TITAN Noir Pro as a DLP projector with a 0.47-inch DMD and RGB triple-laser light source. It specifies 3840 × 2160 standard resolution and rates brightness at 6,000 ISO lumens. These are XGIMI’s figures; they do not establish independently measured brightness, sharpness, or color performance. See XGIMI’s official product listing.

XGIMI lists native contrast up to 8,000:1 and dynamic contrast up to 100,000:1 when Dynamic Black Level Enhancement (DBLE) is enabled. The dynamic figure is a separate, processing-enabled claim—not the projector’s native contrast and not an independent measurement. How those specifications translate to shadow detail and perceived contrast in a particular room cannot be determined from the listing alone.
Picture formats and audio
The listed picture-format support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. For sound, XGIMI specifies two 12 W Harman/Kardon speakers. The listed connections include three HDMI ports, with HDMI 1 supporting eARC; USB 3.0 and USB 2.0; Gigabit LAN; optical output; and an audio output. Check the product page and your source-device requirements before buying, especially if you plan to route audio through an AV receiver or soundbar.

Will it fit your room?
For a projector in this price class, placement is a decision-critical spec. XGIMI lists a 0.98–2.0:1 throw ratio, optical zoom, lens shift, and a 40- to 300-inch image-size range. Those options can make placement more flexible, but they do not guarantee that a particular screen size will work from your available position or deliver the image you want.
Check the throw distance before ordering
Throw ratio describes the relationship between the distance from the lens to the screen and the width of the projected image. As a first-pass calculation, multiply your intended image width by the listed ratio endpoints: the result gives a rough lens-to-screen distance range to compare against your room. Use image width, not diagonal size, for this calculation. Then confirm the exact placement with XGIMI’s current specifications or a verified calculator; account for the lens position, furniture, ceiling mount, and any obstruction in the light path.
Also check that the projector can be positioned at the required height and horizontal offset. Lens shift can help align an image without moving the projector, while optical zoom changes image size within the lens’s range. Neither should be treated as a substitute for confirming your exact screen dimensions and installation geometry. The listed 40- to 300-inch range is not proof that every size is equally suitable for every room.

Consider the whole installation
Screen size, screen gain, ambient light, seating distance, and mounting all affect the practical result. A large image may be possible yet poorly matched to your room or viewing habits. Include the cost and compatibility of a screen, mount, cabling, and professional installation in your budget; the projector’s advertised image-size range does not include those costs.
How good is it for gaming?
XGIMI publishes several mode-specific latency figures: 1 ms at 1080p/240 Hz with VRR enabled and AK disabled; 2.2 ms at 1080p/120 Hz; and 3 ms at 4K/60 Hz. These are manufacturer claims, and the 1 ms figure depends on the stated settings. They should not be read as one universal latency figure or as independent measurements.
Match the mode to your console or PC, the game, and your preferred resolution and refresh rate. Confirm that your source can output the desired signal and that the projector’s selected settings support it. If gaming responsiveness is a deciding factor, look for an independent test of the TITAN Noir Pro under the exact mode you intend to use; the available specifications do not establish real-world input lag across setups.

How does it compare with the TITAN Noir and Noir Max?
XGIMI’s US product comparison presents the following brightness and native-contrast specifications for the three models. These are manufacturer claims, not independently measured comparative results.
| Model | Brightness listed by XGIMI | Native contrast listed by XGIMI |
|---|---|---|
| TITAN Noir | 4,800 ISO lumens | Up to 7,000:1 |
| TITAN Noir Pro | 6,000 ISO lumens | Up to 8,000:1 |
| TITAN Noir Max | 7,000 ISO lumens | Up to 10,000:1 |
The numbers position the Pro between the Noir and Noir Max on paper. They do not prove that the Max will look brighter or more contrast-rich in a controlled comparison, or that the Pro is the best value. Compare the models’ current local prices, independently measured picture performance, room-placement needs, and the features you will actually use. XGIMI’s US comparison is at the TITAN Noir Pro product page.
Do not use reviews of the separate XGIMI Titan as evidence for the TITAN Noir Pro: they are distinct models. For example, What Hi-Fi’s review concerns the XGIMI Titan, not the Noir Pro.

What does it cost?
Prices vary by region and can change. XGIMI France listed the TITAN Noir Pro at €4,499 on October 4, 2026. XGIMI’s US launch announcement reported a $4,999 launch price on May 23, 2026; that is launch-price evidence, not confirmation of the current US checkout price. Check the official listing and local checkout before making a decision: XGIMI France and XGIMI’s US launch announcement.
What can’t be established from the published specifications?
The specifications establish what XGIMI claims the projector supports, but they do not provide an independent verdict on image quality, noise, or measured input lag. A ProjectorCentral specifications page is available, but the information cited here does not supply independent measurement details: ProjectorCentral’s TITAN Noir Pro page. Treat claims about real-world black levels, color accuracy, brightness, and gaming responsiveness as unresolved unless you can consult testing of this exact model.

That distinction matters with a premium projector. Before purchase, prioritize a return policy or a demonstration in conditions similar to your own room. If you cannot assess the picture in person, seek a review that identifies its measurement method, room conditions, image size, and operating mode rather than relying only on headline specifications.
Quick Recap
Who should consider the TITAN Noir Pro?
- It may suit you if the published throw range and lens adjustments fit your room, you want the listed HDR formats and connections, and its local price works within your complete installation budget.
- Pause before buying if you need proven, independently measured performance, depend on a specific gaming mode, or have a difficult room layout that requires exact placement validation.
- Compare the Noir and Noir Max if price or the models’ stated brightness and contrast tiers are central to your choice; the published figures alone do not establish which one performs best in your setup.
