XGIMI has opened U.S. reservations for its AURA 3 Max and AURA 3 Pro ultra-short-throw projectors. The company advertises up to 5,700 ISO lumens for the Max; the Pro is rated at 4,100 ISO lumens. Reservations require a refundable $50 deposit, while the listed early-bird prices are $2,199 and $1,999, respectively. XGIMI planned to launch the products on Kickstarter on October 20, 2026, with shipping expected to begin in December; those were future plans as of October 7, so check the live page for current status and terms.
What are the AURA 3 Max and AURA 3 Pro?
XGIMI describes both models as 4K UHD RGB triple-laser ultra-short-throw projectors with 4K 120Hz playback. The company positions the Max as the higher-performance option, with higher advertised brightness and native contrast than the Pro. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Are the 5,700-lumen claims independently verified?
Not in the materials available for these announcements. The figures of 5,700 ISO lumens and 8,000:1 native contrast for Max, and 4,100 ISO lumens and 7,000:1 for Pro, are XGIMI’s claims. No independent brightness, contrast, input-lag, or image-quality measurements are established here, so treat the specifications as advertised rather than independently measured performance.
XGIMI announced on September 1, 2026 that reservations were open on its official website. Its launch announcement also said the series would be shown at IFA 2026 in Berlin and listed a September 3 livestream; those event details provide launch context, not independent testing.

What to consider before reserving
- Compare the Max and Pro against your room and screen needs; the advertised brightness difference does not, by itself, predict the result in your setup.
- Because these are ultra-short-throw projectors, plan the placement and screen arrangement for a UST setup. The cited product information does not name a specific screen or confirm a bundled accessory.
- Confirm the live deposit, refund, price, campaign, and shipping terms before paying. The figures and schedule above reflect XGIMI’s U.S. reservation materials as of October 7, 2026.
