Xbox Wire’s weekly guide, published October 2, 2026, puts Gears of War: E-Day on October 6, then Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Neon Abyss 2 on October 8. Around them sit about twenty smaller releases through October 9. Xbox Wire says release dates are subject to change, so confirm a title’s store page before you buy or pre-load.
Xbox Wire editor Mike Nelson describes the series this way: “In this weekly feature we cover all the games coming soon to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass!” That is a general description of the feature. Platform and service labels differ by title, so don’t assume every game runs on every device or is included with Game Pass.

The three headline releases
Gears of War: E-Day — October 6
Xbox Wire describes an origin-story campaign set fourteen years before the original Gears of War. Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago face the first emergence of the Locust Horde. The weekly guide labels it Game Pass / Xbox Play Anywhere. A separate Xbox launch announcement lists Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and Steam, with cloud gaming through Game Pass Ultimate.
