The Xbox Seasonal Savings Sale was reported live on October 8, 2026, with five Spike Chunsoft games among the specifically named offers. A separate roundup reported more than 1,600 discounts across three concurrent promotions—not in the Seasonal Savings Sale alone. Prices and eligibility can vary by region and edition, and reports disagree about the end date, so check the individual game listing in your local Microsoft Store or Xbox app before buying.
Which Xbox sale is this?
The promotion identified in current coverage is the Xbox Seasonal Savings Sale, reported live from October 8, 2026. It was running alongside two other promotions: the ID@Xbox Best Rated Sale and a Publisher Spotlight Series sale.

TrueAchievements’ October 8 search-result excerpt grouped all three promotions under a total of more than 1,600 reported discounts. That is a secondary-reported count for the three-sale group, not a Microsoft-confirmed total for Seasonal Savings and not a count that should be attributed to this one sale. The roundup page itself was not available for direct review, so treat the figure as reported rather than independently verified.

“Up to” describes an advertised ceiling, not a guaranteed discount for every buyer. The guide does not establish dependable current US prices or price parity between regions. It also does not establish that these are the only eligible games; this is a set of named examples, not a complete sale catalog.
When does the sale end?
The available reports conflict: one says the sale ends October 14, while the Spike Chunsoft offer period is reported as October 8–15. Those dates may describe different offers or reporting scopes. Since an individual product’s end time can differ, use the deadline shown on that game’s local store listing rather than assuming either date applies to every discount.

How to check a game’s local price and offer
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or the Xbox app, or visit the store for your region.
- Search for the game by its exact title. Do not rely on a general deals page to confirm that a product belongs to this specific promotion.
- Open the product listing and compare the displayed sale price with the displayed original price. Check the currency and region shown in your store.
- Confirm the platform and edition: for example, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, and whether the listing is for a base game, bundle, or add-on. A discount on one version does not establish the price of another.
- Read the listing’s offer end date and check whether the access shown is a direct purchase or subscription-included access, such as Game Pass or EA Play.
Microsoft’s general Xbox deals page is dynamic and is not a complete, labeled catalog for Seasonal Savings. Its listings can mix discounted purchases with games available through subscriptions. A product appearing there does not, by itself, prove that it is part of this named sale.

What to verify before buying
- Final local price: Compare the amount you will actually pay and the original price displayed for your region.
- Edition and platform: Make sure the listing matches the console or PC and the content you intend to buy.
- Offer deadline: Check the specific product page; published sale-wide dates do not resolve the conflicting reports for every item.
- Purchase versus subscription access: Confirm whether you are buying the game or seeing it as part of a subscription catalog.
No price-history evidence establishes that any of the named discounts are the games’ lowest-ever prices. Treat the listed percentages as advertised maximums and the sale guide’s titles as examples; the product page in your region is the practical source for the price and terms available to you.
