Four games appear in October 2026 Xbox delisting reports, but their status is not equally certain. NBA 2K25 is set to leave the Xbox Store for new purchases on October 30; its online services are scheduled to shut down on January 1, 2027. Fortnite Rocket Racing was reported removed on October 1. Two Leisure Suit Larry games have a reported October 23 Steam delisting, but that date has not been confirmed for Xbox.
Which Xbox games are being delisted in October 2026?
A current report names four titles, while distinguishing confirmed Xbox information from dates reported for another platform. The October delisting report identifies:

- Fortnite Rocket Racing: Reported removed on October 1, 2026. The report says it can no longer be played.
- NBA 2K25: Purchase availability ends October 30, 2026. 2K’s notice and the Xbox Store listing corroborate the Xbox One product and the relevant dates.
- Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry: October 23 is tied to a Steam delisting announcement, not a confirmed Xbox removal.
- Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice: The same qualification applies: the October 23 announcement named Steam, and Xbox removal remains unconfirmed.
That distinction matters: the list includes two Larry games because of a Steam announcement, but it does not establish that either is leaving the Xbox Store on October 23.
When is NBA 2K25 being removed from the Xbox Store?
New purchases of NBA 2K25 are scheduled to end on October 30, 2026. This is the purchase cutoff, not the date that existing owners immediately lose access. 2K’s notice says the title will be discontinued as of December 31, 2026; its online-service changes take effect on January 1, 2027. The Xbox Store listing also displays the purchase and server dates.

The goal is winning, but where will you start?
In other words, there is a gap between the end of sales and the shutdown of online functionality. Buying the game before October 30 does not preserve features that depend on 2K’s servers.
What happens to NBA 2K25 after the online shutdown?
Starting January 1, 2027, NBA 2K25 multiplayer and online modes will be unavailable. 2K specifically says that MyCAREER and MyTEAM will no longer be accessible, and players will no longer be able to earn VC. Multiplayer, Online Leagues, and community sharing are also identified as server-dependent features that will stop working.

For people who already own the game, NBA 2K Support says: “If you already own the game, you will still be able to redownload and play offline modes.” That means the announced shutdown does not amount to a complete loss of access, but the continuing play described by 2K is limited to offline modes.
Are the two Leisure Suit Larry games definitely leaving Xbox?
No Xbox removal date is confirmed in the cited reporting. The October 23 date comes from an announcement about Steam, and the report does not say that the announcement named Xbox. Xbox availability may continue; treat an Xbox delisting on that date as an inference, not a confirmed event.

How to interpret the dates
| Event | Date | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Fortnite Rocket Racing reported removal | October 1, 2026 | Reported as already removed and no longer playable. |
| NBA 2K25 purchase cutoff | October 30, 2026 | New purchases end; this is separate from the later online shutdown. |
| NBA 2K25 discontinuation | December 31, 2026 | 2K’s notice says the title is discontinued as of this date. |
| NBA 2K25 online-service shutdown | January 1, 2027 | Online modes and listed server-dependent features become unavailable. |
| Steam delisting announcement for the Larry titles | October 23, 2026 | Applies to the reported Steam announcement; an Xbox date is not confirmed. |
What Xbox owners should do
- If you want to buy NBA 2K25: The stated Xbox Store purchase cutoff is October 30, 2026. Consider whether offline modes are enough for you, because MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and other server-dependent features will not survive the shutdown.
- If you already own it: 2K says you can redownload the game and play offline modes. The announcement does not promise continued access to online features.
- If you are tracking the Larry games: Check the Xbox Store listing rather than treating the Steam date as an Xbox deadline.
A physical NBA 2K25 copy may be another route to look for the game, but current retail stock is not established here, and a disc would not restore online play after the server shutdown.
