Short answer: WWE viewing is split by country and program. Use country as the first filter. A service that carries a PLE in one market may carry only weekly episodes, or nothing at all, in another.

What counts as a WWE live event?
Premium Live Events
PLEs are WWE’s major, separately promoted events. In the U.S., the official route is currently the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan. WWE’s 2025 rights announcement describes ESPN platforms as the exclusive U.S. domestic home for PLEs beginning in 2026; WWE’s current viewing guide names ESPN Unlimited as the way to watch them.

For viewers outside the U.S., WWE says most regions receive PLEs live on Netflix. That wording matters: “most regions” is not a guarantee for every country. Open the event listing in WWE’s guide for your location before assuming Netflix has the rights.
Weekly shows
The U.S. weekly schedule is deliberately split. Netflix carries live Raw; USA Network carries SmackDown on Fridays at 8/7c; and The CW carries NXT on Tuesdays at 8/7c. A Netflix subscription therefore does not, by itself, provide the U.S. live versions of all three weekly shows.
In most international markets, WWE currently identifies Netflix as the live home for all three shows. Germany and Austria are listed exceptions, with BILD and ProSieben MAXX named for Raw, SmackDown and NXT. Sub-Saharan Africa is directed to SuperSport. Local schedules, language feeds and blackout rules can still differ.

Saturday Night’s Main Event
WWE lists Peacock separately for the U.S. Saturday Night’s Main Event. Do not treat this program as evidence that Peacock is the current U.S. home for the PLE calendar; WWE’s guide places U.S. PLEs on ESPN Unlimited.
United States: choosing a service for each show
ESPN App with ESPN Unlimited: U.S. PLEs
Start here when your goal is a U.S. Premium Live Event. WWE lists WrestleMania 42, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and other PLEs on ESPN Unlimited. The service is an event destination, not a replacement for every weekly WWE broadcast.
- Open WWE’s Where to Watch page and select the United States.
- Choose the specific PLE rather than relying on a general WWE search result.
- Follow the ESPN App link and verify that the listing says ESPN Unlimited and shows the correct start time.
- Sign in on the device you will use for the event and check playback before the live start.

Netflix: live Raw
Netflix is the U.S. live destination for Raw. Netflix’s WWE guide says episodes become available after the live stream, making it useful for viewers who cannot watch in real time. The exact title page is the authority for the episode’s availability and replay status.
USA Network: live SmackDown
WWE lists SmackDown on USA Network on Fridays at 8/7c. USA Network is a channel designation, not automatically a standalone streaming plan. If you need to watch online, verify which authorized television-provider or streaming option carries the channel in your ZIP code.
The CW: live NXT and NXT PLEs
The CW is WWE’s listed U.S. home for NXT on Tuesdays at 8/7c, and WWE says NXT PLEs also air exclusively there. Check the local schedule and whether your area receives The CW by broadcast, cable or an authorized app. Availability can depend on local affiliation.
Peacock: Saturday Night’s Main Event
For this specific U.S. special, WWE directs viewers to Peacock. Its destination is distinct from the U.S. PLE route, so identify the program name before choosing a subscription.

Outside the United States
Most regions: Netflix
WWE’s international summary says Netflix carries live Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs in most regions. Netflix’s own WWE viewing guide also directs readers to check regional availability. “Live” applies to the listed market and title; it does not promise that every historical episode is present or that every live stream remains permanently available.
Germany and Austria
WWE’s guide names BILD and ProSieben MAXX for the three weekly shows in Germany and Austria. The retrieved guide does not spell out the PLE destination for these countries. Check the individual event listing rather than extending the weekly-show arrangement to PLEs.
Sub-Saharan Africa
SuperSport is the service WWE names for this region. Confirm the local package, channel and event because rights and schedules can vary by country.
Japan
Netflix became the exclusive home for WWE programming in Japan on October 1, 2026, including Raw, SmackDown, NXT, PLEs and the archive, according to Netflix’s September 29, 2026 announcement. Netflix reported 4.9 million “views” for its debut live WWE stream in Japan; the announcement does not define that number as unique viewers or accounts. This recent change shows why older country lists can become inaccurate.
Sony LIV and Flow
WWE links Sony LIV and Flow for premium content and PLEs in some territories. The current guide does not provide a complete country list or catalogue description for either service. Use the service link from WWE’s guide and verify the event page in your market before subscribing.

What is in the U.S. Netflix library?
Netflix became the U.S. home for WWE’s library on January 6, 2026. WWE’s announcement says the U.S. catalogue includes PLEs held before September 2025, documentaries, original programming and past Raw episodes. That announcement does not establish that every historical WWE match, episode or pay-per-view is available, so “complete archive” is too broad.
For a particular older event, search Netflix by its exact title and check the episode list. A title may be present in one country and absent in another because rights are negotiated separately.
How quickly do Netflix replays appear?
Netflix’s WWE guide says eligible episodes are available immediately after the live stream. Its live-events help page warns that some events are watchable or downloadable only for a limited time. Device limitations or language settings can also delay access. Treat “immediately afterward” as the normal guidance for an eligible title, not a permanent guarantee for every event.
PLE replay expectations
U.S. PLE replay access should be checked in the ESPN App event listing. International replay availability should be checked on Netflix or the regional service named by WWE. Do not assume that a live broadcast automatically creates an unlimited replay window.

- Identify the country where you will watch. Rights are location-based, and a VPN or account registered elsewhere does not change the authorized rights stated for your market.
- Classify the program. Decide whether it is a PLE, Raw, SmackDown, NXT, an NXT PLE or Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- Open WWE’s current guide. Use WWE’s Where to Watch page, select your market and open the specific event or show link.
- Check live versus replay wording. A page may list a live home while Netflix or another service separately lists an on-demand episode.
- Verify the start time and date. International events can begin at a different local time, and weekly U.S. listings use 8/7c for SmackDown and NXT.
- Confirm the plan and device. Check whether the destination is a channel, a provider login or a streaming plan, then test the app on the intended screen.
- Recheck close to the event. WWE’s guide is a current snapshot, not a permanent rights contract; regional arrangements can change.
Devices and playback requirements
Netflix says its live events are included with eligible Netflix plans at no additional live-event charge. Supported device categories include smart TVs, streaming media players, phones, computers and game consoles. Older or unsupported devices may not play a livestream, although the title may become available later as an ordinary on-demand program.

If your television lacks a supported built-in app, a streaming media player is a practical accessory category. Check the player’s current Netflix or ESPN app support before buying; no particular model is established by the WWE or Netflix guidance. For channel-based routes such as USA Network and The CW, confirm that your television provider or authorized local app carries the channel.
Before a major event, install pending app updates, sign in, test another video and verify that your device’s date, time and language settings are correct. If a live title is missing, search the exact event name instead of assuming the service has dropped the rights.
Common problems and fixes
The event is not listed
- Confirm that your account and device are set to the country where you are watching.
- Return to WWE’s guide and select the exact event; do not rely on an old bookmark.
- Check whether you are looking for a weekly show when the listing is under PLEs, or vice versa.
The live stream will not play
- Update the app and operating system, then restart the device.
- Try a supported smart TV, phone, computer or streaming media player.
- Check the service’s help page for device restrictions and temporary live-event limitations.
The replay is missing
- Wait for the live broadcast to finish and refresh the title page.
- Look for the episode under the exact event name, not only under a general WWE collection.
- Consider that the event may have a limited replay window or different rights in your market.
You expected one subscription to cover everything
In the U.S., that expectation is incorrect: ESPN Unlimited, Netflix, USA Network, The CW and Peacock have different WWE roles. Build your viewing plan around the shows you actually watch, and verify each destination before paying for an additional service.
