The WSCI 2026 League of Legends grand final is over: T1 Esports Academy defeated Solary 3–2 in the scheduled best-of-five, according to the official LoL Esports schedule. Before the series, previews leaned toward T1 Academy, while one Win.gg preview listed Solary at 2.50 and T1 Academy at 1.51 in decimal odds. Those prices are historical, not live betting odds.

Who won the WSCI final?

T1 Esports Academy won the inaugural WSCI final 3–2. The official LoL Esports schedule records the completed result; the event had been scheduled as a best-of-five on October 2, 2026. The series score is the confirmed outcome, not evidence that any particular pre-match prediction or betting market was accurate.

What were the pre-match odds?

A Win.gg preview published on October 2 listed these historical match-winner prices:

Team Win.gg preview price How to read it
Solary 2.50 Decimal odds in one historical preview snapshot; not a live price or verified market consensus.
T1 Esports Academy 1.51 Decimal odds in the same historical preview snapshot; not a guaranteed or currently available price.

Win.gg described its odds as third-party information subject to fluctuation. The underlying article could not be independently accessed, and the available record does not identify a bookmaker. Treat these figures as a report of what that preview displayed, rather than confirmed prices from a named operator.

  • Comfort is King: Comfort’s in the Cloud III’s DNA. Built for gamers who can’t have an uncomfortable headset ruin the flow of their full-combo, disrupt their speedrun, or knocking them out of the zone.
  • Audio Tuned for Your Entertainment: Angled 53mm drivers have been tuned by HyperX audio engineers to provide the optimal listening experience that accents the dynamic sounds of gaming.
  • Upgraded Microphone for Clarity and Accuracy: Captures high-quality audio for clear voice chat and calls. The mic is noise-cancelling and features a built-in mesh filter to omit disruptive sounds and LED mic mute indicator lets you know when you’re muted.
  • Durability, for the Toughest of Battles: The headset is flexible and features an aluminum frame so it’s resilient against travel, accidents, mishaps, and your ‘level-headed’ reactions to losses and defeat screens.

Decimal odds alone do not establish a fair probability or show whether a wager offered value: prices reflect the market and can include bookmaker margin. No consensus line, named forecast model, or verified study of prediction accuracy was established for this match.

Why did previews lean toward T1 Academy?

RFT.GG characterized T1 Academy as the slight favorite, emphasizing lane matchups and the team’s ability to build early leads. Sheep Esports also described strong laning and early-game performance in T1’s semifinal. These were qualitative pre-final assessments, not guarantees about the final or proof of what decided it.

  • ADVANCED PASSIVE NOISE CANCELLATION — Sturdy closed earcups fully cover the ears to prevent noise from leaking into the headset, with its cushions providing a closer seal for more sound isolation

  • VOLUME WHEEL — Its on-headset control makes it convenient to adjust audio levels without having to fiddle with any system or program settings

T1’s route: lane control and early leads

The pre-match case for T1 centered on winning lanes and converting that advantage into an early lead. Sheep Esports noted occasional mid-game turnovers earlier in the event, a possible vulnerability if an opponent could survive the opening and punish mistakes. The reports do not establish that either strength or weakness caused the 3–2 result.

Solary’s route: bot-lane pressure and fights

Previews pointed to Solary’s bot lane as a counterweight and described the team as capable of making the series difficult through a less structured, more chaotic style and teamfighting. Sheep Esports highlighted draft choices including Wukong, Lulu, and Kha’Zix, as well as bottom laner Berat “Aetinoth” Tıknazoğlu’s damage. It reported “over 1,000 DPM” for Aetinoth, without specifying a separate measurement window or methodology; that figure should be understood as Sheep Esports’ reported statistic, not a verified tournament-wide measure.

How the finalists reached the series

The semifinal results offered context for the matchup, but they were not a reliable substitute for predicting a best-of-five final.

Finalist Semifinal opponent Result reported before the final
Solary DN SOOPers Challengers Solary won 3–0, according to Sheep Esports.
T1 Esports Academy Galions T1 Academy won 3–1, reported by Sheep Esports and RFT.GG.

Sheep Esports said Solary had lost only one game to Movistar KOI Fénix across its tournament run up to its September 30 preview. That is a pre-final account of the run to that point, not a description of the completed grand final.

Sheep Esports also noted that T1 players Kim “Painter” Eun-hoo and Kim “Eclipse” Min-jun had debuted in the LCK Challengers League that year and reached both that league’s final and the WSCI final. RFT.GG reported that Solary player Zicssi said after the semifinal, “We’re gonna stomp the final.” It was a pre-match boast, not a forecast with predictive authority.

What the odds and predictions can—and cannot—tell you

The available pre-match coverage supports a reconstruction of the expectations: T1 was viewed as the slight favorite on lane and early-game strength, while Solary’s bot-lane pressure and ability to create messy fights were presented as ways to challenge that advantage. The 3–2 result shows the final was close by series score, but the sources here do not establish which tactical factor determined the winner.
