The Withings ScanWatch Horizon is a premium hybrid watch: it pairs analog hands and a small PMOLED screen with activity and sleep tracking, ECG, SpO₂ and respiratory scanning. Its main distinction from the classic ScanWatch is its diver-inspired stainless-steel construction, sapphire glass, luminous details and 10 ATM rating—not a different set of software features. Withings says it is suitable for swimming, but not diving or snorkeling. The specifications and battery figures below are manufacturer claims, not independently tested results.
What is the ScanWatch Horizon?
Horizon is a 43 mm hybrid smartwatch with conventional hour and minute hands, a small PMOLED screen for data and notifications, and a subdial that indicates progress toward an activity goal. The limited screen preserves an analog-watch appearance, but detailed interaction takes place through the small display and the companion app rather than a full touchscreen.

Withings lists a stainless-steel case and bracelet, sapphire glass, a rotating stainless-steel bezel and luminous dial details. Its stated dimensions are 43 mm in diameter, 13.28 mm thick and 20 mm band width; the watch-only weight is 72 g. The box includes an additional FKM wristband, magnetic charging cable, quick-start guide and toolkit for adjusting the metal bracelet. These are manufacturer specifications.

Health and activity tracking
Withings describes sleep reporting, activity tracking, periodic heart-rate readings, workout mode, on-demand ECG and SpO₂ readings, and respiratory scanning. Its product page says ECG and SpO₂ readings take 30 seconds. It describes heart-rate measurement every ten minutes for ongoing tracking and continuous measurement during workout mode. These descriptions do not establish diagnostic accuracy, and Withings says availability and clinical validation can vary by region. See the ScanWatch Horizon product page and Withings’ feature information for current details.

Notifications and everyday tools
The small screen can show health metrics, activity statistics, settings and previews of calls, texts, calendar events and notifications from more than 100 apps, according to Withings. The watch also lists an alarm, stopwatch and timer. It is therefore designed to surface selected information, not to offer the broad app interaction of a full-screen smartwatch.

How does Horizon differ from the classic ScanWatch?
Withings says the classic ScanWatch and Horizon share software, technology and features. Horizon’s premium is primarily in the materials, water rating and diver-inspired styling. The classic model is rated 5 ATM; Horizon is rated 10 ATM. Withings also identifies sapphire glass, luminous hands, a rotating stainless-steel bezel and a metal bracelet as Horizon distinctions. Its support material says the bezel carries electrodes used for ECG and SpO₂ measurements.

Can you swim, dive or snorkel with ScanWatch Horizon?
Withings rates Horizon at 10 ATM, described in its materials as pressure comparable to 100 metres. That rating is not permission to use it for diving: Withings says swimming is allowed, but diving and snorkeling are not. The watch is not presented as a dive computer. Consult Withings’ water-resistance guidance before water use.
- Withings permits swimming, splashing and dishwashing.
- Do not press or rotate the side button underwater.
- Rinse the watch after saltwater swimming; avoid prolonged saltwater exposure, chemicals, saunas and steam rooms.
- Water resistance can be affected by age and wear, so the stated rating should not be assumed to remain unchanged indefinitely.
How long does the battery last?
Withings claims up to 30 days per charge in normal use, plus up to 20 additional days in power-reserve mode. In power-reserve mode, only time and activity tracking remain available. The product page also lists roughly two hours for a full charge and about one hour to reach 80 percent. These are vendor estimates, not independently measured battery results; actual duration can depend on use.

What phone, app and setup does it require?
Setup requires a Withings account and mobile app; Withings says the watch cannot be configured from a computer. The Spanish product page lists iOS 14 or later and Android 10 or later. Those requirements may change, so check the current compatibility information for your country before buying. The Spanish ScanWatch Horizon product page lists those requirements.

Horizon is most relevant if you want an analog-style watch with a limited notification screen and Withings’ listed health and activity functions, while preferring the Horizon’s steel bracelet, sapphire glass, luminous details and higher water-resistance rating over the classic ScanWatch’s construction. Its hybrid format is a poor match if your priority is a large touchscreen for extensive on-watch interaction. The evidence here does not establish comparative comfort, tracking accuracy or real-world battery life.

Availability, colors, retailer listings and warranty terms can vary by country and change over time. Withings’ FAQ has described Europe-only availability, blue or green colors, online sales through Withings and Amazon, and a five-year warranty, but those details should be checked against the live listing and warranty terms in the buyer’s market. Confirm that a listing is for ScanWatch Horizon rather than ScanWatch Nova, ScanWatch 2 or the classic ScanWatch. See Withings’ ScanWatch Horizon FAQ.
