The first season has 13 listed episodes. Crunchyroll’s calendar lists Episode 13, “Forbidden Magic,” as available on June 22, 2026. The official Japanese information described later streaming episodes as arriving one week ahead of their Japanese television broadcasts on Netflix, ABEMA, and Crunchyroll. Witch Hat Atelier originally had a 2025 broadcast window. In September 2025, the production announced that the broadcast was moving to 2026 so the team could deliver the series at the intended quality. Pages published before that change may therefore contain an outdated release date. The postponement was reported by Crunchyroll.

What is Witch Hat Atelier about?
The story follows Coco, a girl who dreams of becoming a witch despite believing that magic is limited to people born with magical abilities. After meeting the traveling wizard Qifrey, she learns that the truth about magic is more complicated than she expected.
The manga is written and illustrated by Kamome Shirahama. The anime is directed by Ayumu Watanabe and animated by BUG FILMS. The official anime website’s broadcast information is available at tongari-anime.com.
Is a second season confirmed?
The available information confirms the completed 13-episode first season, but it does not establish a confirmed Season 2 release date. Do not rely on community speculation as an official renewal announcement.
