Instead of putting its bedroom in a loft, it keeps living, kitchen and dining space together on the main floor, with a hallway leading to laundry, a bathroom and a separate bedroom.
How the Winslow uses its space
New Atlas reports dimensions of 43 feet long by 14 feet wide, with 400 square feet of interior area. Zook Cabins’ catalog independently lists the Winslow at 400 square feet, with one bedroom and one bathroom. The 14-foot width and open shared room are central to the design’s cottage-like, apartment-style feel; that description is an editorial characterization, not a measured comparison with other park models.

A shared living, kitchen and dining area
The main living area combines the lounge, kitchen and dining functions rather than dividing them into separate rooms. New Atlas reports that the kitchen includes a stainless-steel sink, microwave, induction cooktop and fridge-freezer. The broad shared zone is the layout’s main contrast with a plan that divides the same footprint into more enclosed rooms.
A hall, bathroom and separate bedroom
From the shared area, a small hallway organizes the laundry and bathroom before reaching the separate bedroom. The bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower, vanity sink and flushing toilet, according to New Atlas. Keeping the bedroom on the main floor gives it full-height standing room, avoiding the low clearance common to loft sleeping areas.
#1 Best Overall
It is designed for a site, not constant travel
Although the Winslow is built on a quad-axle trailer, New Atlas describes it as intended for semi-permanent installation rather than frequent nomadic travel. The trailer base makes it a home on wheels, but the reported setup guidance points to a prepared site and connected utilities—not an assumption that it is ready to move from place to place as a conventional travel trailer.
What a buyer needs to verify before ordering
Zook Cabins’ general park-model guidance says customers are responsible for arranging utilities and preparing a compact gravel pad or concrete slab. The company lists 100-amp electrical service, a water connection, and septic or municipal sewer as setup needs. These are manufacturer’s general instructions, not a site-specific engineering approval; confirm the exact configuration and delivery requirements for the order.

- Great tools at an affordable price
- Site preparation: Ask what pad dimensions and foundation preparation are required for the specific unit.
- Utilities: Confirm electrical, water and sewer or septic connections with Zook and the service providers for the site.
- Local approval: Check zoning, placement, permitting and occupancy rules with the relevant local authority. The available sources do not establish a nationwide approval outcome.
- Order details: Request a current quote that specifies included appliances and fixtures, delivery terms, lead time and any site work that is not included.
Zook says its park models are built to RVIA ANSI A119.5 standards. That manufacturer statement does not by itself determine whether a particular location permits the unit or what local site requirements apply.

Price and availability
New Atlas does not state a price, and Zook’s catalog page does not provide a Winslow-specific price in the cited material. Contact Zook Cabins for current pricing and availability rather than relying on figures for other models or general financing examples. The manufacturer’s model information is at Zook Cabins’ cabin catalog; its setup guidance is on the park models page.

How to compare it with another park model
The Winslow’s single-level layout may suit someone who values a separate main-floor bedroom and an open shared space. A useful comparison should focus on the details that affect daily use and placement, rather than treating “spacious” as a universal or measurable ranking.
- Compare length, width and interior square footage.
- Check whether the sleeping area is a main-floor bedroom or a loft, and whether living and sleeping spaces are separated.
- Compare bedroom and bathroom counts, laundry provision and any porch.
- Confirm each model’s site preparation, utility connections, delivery terms and local approval requirements.
The available coverage does not provide a head-to-head comparison with other park models, so these criteria are a practical checklist, not evidence that the Winslow is larger or better than a competing unit. New Atlas’ detailed description is available in its Winslow feature.
