Windows laptop पर किसी website को PDF बनाने के लिए उसे Microsoft Edge या Google Chrome में खोलें, Ctrl + P दबाएँ, print preview में PDF विकल्प चुनें और फ़ाइल सहेजें। इसके लिए printer जोड़ना ज़रूरी नहीं है। नीचे Edge और Chrome के आसान चरण, preview ठीक करने के उपाय और सामान्य दिक्कतों के समाधान दिए हैं।
Microsoft Edge में website को PDF कैसे save करें
- Edge में वह webpage खोलें जिसे PDF बनाना है।
- कीबोर्ड पर Ctrl + P दबाएँ। इससे print preview खुलेगा।
- Preview देखकर ज़रूरत के अनुसार scale, background graphics और headers and footers जैसे विकल्प बदलें। विकल्पों के नाम आपके Edge संस्करण या भाषा के अनुसार अलग दिख सकते हैं।
- Destination में PDF पर जाने वाला विकल्प चुनें। उपलब्ध Microsoft निर्देशों में destination का सटीक label निर्धारित नहीं है, इसलिए अपने print preview में दिख रहे PDF विकल्प को चुनें।
- Save चुनें, फिर फ़ाइल का नाम और laptop पर folder तय करके सहेजें।

Google Chrome में website को PDF कैसे save करें
- Chrome में webpage खोलें और Ctrl + P दबाएँ।
- Print window में Destination के रूप में Save as PDF चुनें।
- Save पर क्लिक करें, फिर फ़ाइल का नाम और folder चुनें।
Google की Chrome computer help यही Save as PDF workflow बताती है। Google Drive में भेजने का विकल्प अलग सुविधा या extension setup पर निर्भर हो सकता है; सीधे laptop पर PDF सहेजने के लिए उसकी ज़रूरत नहीं है।
PDF का preview और formatting ठीक करें
पेज कट रहा हो या बहुत छोटा दिखे
Save करने से पहले preview देखें। Edge में scale बदलकर सामग्री को printable area में fit करने या custom scale लगाने की कोशिश करें। Page size और webpage की layout के कारण पेजों की संख्या या सामग्री का आकार बदल सकता है।

Background या रंग PDF में न दिखें
Print settings में Background graphics विकल्प देखें। इसे चालू करने से webpage का रंगीन या background वाला रूप शामिल हो सकता है; बंद होने पर background छूट सकती है। बदलाव के बाद preview जाँचें।
Date या page number चाहिए
Edge में More settings > Headers and footers खोलकर headers और footers चालू करें। विकल्प उपलब्ध हो तो print preview में देख लें कि जो जानकारी चाहिए वही जुड़ रही है।

विज्ञापन और navigation हटाने हैं
Edge में उस webpage के लिए Immersive Reader उपलब्ध हो तो उसे आज़माएँ और फिर print करें। यह साफ़ text view पाने का workaround है, लेकिन हर website पर Immersive Reader उपलब्ध नहीं होता।

समस्या हो तो क्या करें
- Print preview नहीं खुलता: Microsoft की सलाह के अनुसार print फिर से आज़माएँ या Edge बंद करके दोबारा खोलें। फिर भी समस्या रहे तो चुने हुए printer या destination की जाँच करें और Windows print troubleshooting देखें।
- PDF विकल्प नहीं दिखता: Destination या printer की सूची खोलकर PDF वाला विकल्प खोजें। Edge में उसका सटीक label संस्करण के अनुसार बदल सकता है।
- PDF में रंग या background गायब है: Background graphics चालू करके preview फिर देखें।
- कुछ सामग्री कट रही है: Scale या page size settings बदलकर preview में परिणाम जाँचें।
- PDF में बहुत सारे विज्ञापन हैं: Edge में Immersive Reader उपलब्ध हो तो उससे साफ़ view बनाकर print करें; अन्यथा सामान्य print preview में उपलब्ध विकल्पों से जाँच करें।
