結論：サポート対象の通常のWindows 10／11では、Microsoft Defender AntivirusやWindows Securityを完全にアンインストールする公式手順はありません。目的に応じて、リアルタイム保護を一時的にオフにする、特定項目だけ除外する、互換性のある他社製アンチウイルスへ切り替える、という方法を選びます。
システムファイルやサービスを削除する非公式スクリプトは、更新・復旧・ファイアウォール・管理機能を壊すおそれがあるため実行しないでください。
「Windows Defender」は何を指すのか
Microsoft Defender Antivirusは、ウイルスやマルウェア、望ましくない可能性のあるアプリを検出する本体です。Windows Securityは、Defender Antivirus、Windows Firewall、アカウント保護、アプリとブラウザーの制御などをまとめて設定する標準アプリです。
Windows Security Center Serviceは保護状態を画面に表示するサービスで、これを停止してもDefender AntivirusやWindows Firewallは無効になりません。表示が古くなったり不正確になったりするだけです。企業向けのMicrosoft Defender for Endpointも、家庭用Windowsに組み込まれたDefender Antivirusとは別製品です。詳しくはMicrosoft LearnのWindows Security説明を参照してください。

削除・無効化・除外の違い

リアルタイム保護を一時的に無効化する
Windows 10とWindows 11の標準画面では、次の順に操作します。
- スタートで「Windows セキュリティ」を検索して開く。
- ウイルスと脅威の防止を選ぶ。
- 「ウイルスと脅威の防止の設定」の設定の管理を開く。
- リアルタイム保護をオフにする。
この手順はMicrosoftのアンチウイルスFAQにも示されています。オフの間に開いたファイルやダウンロードはリアルタイムに検査されません。定期スキャンなどが継続する場合もあり、恒久停止ではありません。作業が終わったら同じ画面でオンに戻してください。Microsoftのウイルスと脅威の防止の案内でも、終了後の再有効化が推奨されています。

オフにできない、またはすぐ戻る場合
改ざん防止が有効
改ざん防止（Tamper Protection）は、アプリやスクリプトによる重要設定の変更を防ぎます。個人PCで管理対象でない場合は、Windows セキュリティ → ウイルスと脅威の防止 → 設定の管理 → 改ざん防止で一時的にオフにできます。作業後は必ずオンに戻してください。詳細は個人デバイスの改ざん防止管理を確認してください。
会社・学校のポリシーで管理されている
グループポリシー、Intune、Microsoft Defender for Endpointで管理されたPCでは、項目がグレーアウトしたり変更が元に戻ったりします。管理者の承認なしにレジストリやPowerShellで回避せず、組織の管理者へ依頼してください。Microsoftのポリシー資料では、Turn off real-time protection（DisableRealtimeMonitoring）の場所をComputer Configuration > Windows Components > Microsoft Defender Antivirus > Real-time Protectionとしていますが、改ざん防止が有効なら変更が適用されないことがあります。

他社製品や権限の影響
別のセキュリティ製品が設定を管理している、または標準ユーザーで管理者権限がない場合も変更できません。製品側の設定とWindows Securityの保護プロバイダーを確認します。
特定のファイルやフォルダーだけ除外する
誤検知や開発ツールのビルド遅延が理由なら、Defender全体を止めるより影響範囲を限定できます。

- 「除外」までスクロールし、除外の追加または削除を選ぶ。
- 管理者の確認後、除外の追加からファイル、フォルダー、ファイルの種類、プロセスを選ぶ。
除外はDefenderのリアルタイムスキャンに対する設定で、他社製品の検査やすべてのスキャンを止めるものではありません。ドライブ全体、C:、ダウンロードフォルダー全体、不明なソフト、クラックやキージェネレーターは除外しないでください。配布元、デジタル署名、検出名、可能ならハッシュ値を確認し、作業終了後に除外を削除します。誤検知が疑われる場合は、除外を恒久化する前にMicrosoftの案内からサンプル提出を検討してください。
他社製アンチウイルスへ切り替える
Defenderを先に削除する必要はありません。公式サイトからリアルタイム保護を備えた製品を1つだけ導入し、正常に登録・更新されたことを確認します。

- 重要ファイルをバックアップし、既存のセキュリティ製品を確認する。
- 製品ベンダーの公式サイトからインストーラーを取得する。
- インストール後、製品を最新状態にする。
- Windows セキュリティで保護プロバイダーが新製品になったことを確認する。
- Defenderがオフまたはパッシブになっていることを確認する。
互換性のある製品が正常に動作するとDefenderは自動的に切り替わり、他社製品をアンインストールすると通常はDefenderが再び有効になります。2つのリアルタイム保護を同時に動かすと競合、性能低下、誤表示が起こり得ます。対応製品の一覧と注意事項はMicrosoftのWindows向けアンチウイルス提供元一覧を参照してください。
製品選びの目安
- 追加費用をかけたくないなら、Windows標準のDefenderを継続する。
- 手動スキャンを追加したいなら、Malwarebytes Freeはクイック／カスタムスキャンを利用できますが、Windowsのリアルタイム保護などは有料機能です。機能比較を確認してください。

Remove-AppxPackage、Set-MpPreference、sc.exe delete WinDefendなどを「完全削除手順」として実行することは推奨しません。OSエディション、権限、改ざん防止、組織ポリシーで結果が変わり、Windows Update後に復元されたり、保護状態の表示と実際の状態が食い違ったりします。
- Windows Securityアプリを削除してもDefender Antivirusは消えない。
- Security Center Serviceを停止してもDefenderやFirewallは無効にならない。
- サービスや
C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindows Defenderのファイルを手作業で削除すると、通知、更新、復旧、管理連携を壊す可能性がある。
企業環境で構成を変更する場合は、Intune、Microsoft Defenderポータル、Configuration Manager、組織のグループポリシーを使い、管理者の手順に従います。

- 他社製アンチウイルスをアンインストールし、必要ならベンダーの削除ツールで残骸を除去する。
- Windows セキュリティ → ウイルスと脅威の防止 → 設定の管理でリアルタイム保護をオンにする。
- セキュリティインテリジェンスを更新する。
- クイックスキャンまたはフルスキャンを実行する。
- 保護プロバイダーの表示がMicrosoft Defender Antivirusになっていることを確認する。
感染が疑われる場合はDefenderを無効化せず、更新後のフルスキャンやMicrosoft Defender Offlineを利用します。
