Rockstar has opened a digital pre-save for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album with a “Choose music service” prompt, but the official pages currently cited do not name Spotify or provide a Spotify album link. Rockstar has confirmed a separate 34-track album, physical CD and vinyl editions, extensive in-game radio and podcasts, and an original score. Those are related, but they are not the same soundtrack product.
Is GTA 6 music confirmed for Spotify?
Not yet. Rockstar’s official digital album page offers a service-selection pre-save, which shows that an online release is planned. However, that page does not identify Spotify by name, and there is no confirmed Spotify album URL in the published information. Until Rockstar, the record label involved in the release, or Spotify posts a direct listing, “GTA 6 songs are on Spotify” is stronger wording than the evidence supports.

The most accurate expectation is that the 34-track album will be delivered through one or more digital music services, with the exact services and regional availability announced later. A pre-save page can route listeners to different services, and a service may show different catalogs by country. Even after a listing appears, a track could be unavailable in a particular territory because of licensing terms. Check the artist, album title, release date and label details on the service rather than relying on an unofficial playlist or a song used in a trailer.
What the pre-save actually tells you
- A digital listening release is planned for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
- The release is separate from the game’s boxed or digital game purchase.
- The currently published page does not prove that Spotify will carry every track.
- It does not establish whether availability will be worldwide or vary by country.
The album, radio and score are three different things
“The GTA 6 soundtrack” can mean several audio systems. Rockstar is presenting an album for listening outside the game, radio and podcasts that play inside the fictional world of Leonida, and an original score used to support the game’s action. Treating all of these as one playlist creates expectations the announcement does not support.
#1 Best Overall
| Listening option | What it contains | Where you hear it | Current certainty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album | 34 original tracks, including nine announced singles | Digital services, CD and vinyl are announced routes | Officially announced; Spotify specifically unconfirmed |
| In-game radio and podcasts | Station music, presenters, talk segments and podcasts selected for the game world | While playing in Leonida | Officially confirmed; complete song lists are not published |
| Original score | Composed material associated with the game, including Justice’s credited work | Game sequences and other interactive contexts | Justice is confirmed as a score composer; the full score format and release details are unannounced |
An album single appearing in a trailer is therefore not automatically a confirmed radio track. It could remain an album-only release, appear in a mission, or be used in another part of the game. Rockstar has not said how the album tracks, radio rotation and score will overlap.
What is in Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album?
Rockstar describes the album as a 34-track collection of original songs. Its announcement says the release is “Coming November 19” and offers digital pre-save as well as CD and vinyl pre-orders. The date is presented with the 2026 album announcement; listeners should still check the live product page for any later scheduling change.
Nine singles have been identified so far:
- Yung Lean — “That’s It,” featuring Future and Metro Boomin
- Travis Scott — “RHYNO”
- Justice — “Flower in a Hurricane”
- Morgan Wallen — “Last Thing You Need”
- Fuerza Regida — “Suzuki”
- Rauw Alejandro — “Macacoa 2000”
- Cardi B — “Don’t Chart”
- Keith Richards — “Bright Lights, Big City”
- The remaining announced single slot is part of Rockstar’s nine-single presentation; the published summary identifies the artists and titles above but does not provide a separate ninth title.
The last item needs careful interpretation: the official announcement is described as listing nine singles, while the available title information names eight specific songs. Do not treat an unlisted title as confirmed until Rockstar adds it to the album page or a formal tracklist. The album’s total of 34 original tracks is the firm figure.
Can you listen to the album outside the game?
Yes, that is the purpose of the album release. Rockstar has announced digital listening, CD and vinyl routes, so the album is intended to function as a standalone music product rather than only as game audio. Digital availability remains service- and region-dependent until the listings go live. The CD and vinyl versions provide offline listening, but stock, shipping and territorial sales can differ by retailer and country.
How GTA 6’s in-game radio is expected to work
Rockstar says GTA 6 will have its “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet.” The radio is diegetic: characters hear it as part of the world while you drive or otherwise play, and stations include hosts and spoken material rather than being simple copies of the external album.
Cocoteo
Cocoteo is the modern-Latin station previewed with the presenters El Martillo and La Gata. Rockstar has not published its complete rotation, so the station identity should not be read as a full genre or song list.
Back Country
Back Country focuses on renegade country and is hosted by MW and Delta Dawne. Individual songs remain unannounced in the published preview.

Afro Bank FM
Afro Bank FM covers amapiano, African classics and 3-step. Burna and Palmsy are the named presenters. No complete tracklist has been released.
The Chamber
The Chamber is the metal station, with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. The announcement establishes its format and hosts, not every artist or track in rotation.
Flash FM
Flash FM is the pop station, presented by Robyn and Alex. Its preview confirms the station concept but not the final playlist.
Dirty South Classics
Dirty South Classics is built around regional rap and hip-hop, with Trick and Trina as the named hosts. Rockstar has not yet supplied a complete list of songs.
Rank #2
These six stations are previews, not a definitive count of every station or podcast that will ship. Rockstar’s wording about the biggest and widest-ranging selection indicates a broad radio offering, while the currently named stations are the ones specifically identified in the announcement.
Where the original score fits
Justice is credited as an original-score composer. Rockstar also highlights “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That credit links Justice to the game’s score presentation, while the song is also one of the named album singles. The dual presentation is a useful reminder that a track can be promoted as a standalone song and still have a connection to the game’s scoring identity.
The available announcement does not explain whether the score will receive a separate digital soundtrack, whether it will be mixed into radio, or how it will react dynamically to missions and locations. Do not promise a downloadable score album or describe a specific adaptive-music system until Rockstar publishes those details.

When the release window approaches, use this verification sequence instead of assuming that a fan playlist is official:
- Start at Rockstar’s official Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album page and use its digital pre-save or service-selection control.
- If Spotify is offered, confirm that the destination is an official Spotify album page, not a user-created playlist.
- Check that the page uses the exact album title, shows the expected release date and identifies the correct artists or label.
- Open the album in your own country’s Spotify catalog. A listing visible in one region may not be licensed in another.
- Compare the visible track count with Rockstar’s announced total of 34. A partial pre-release listing is not proof that the remaining songs have been removed.
If Spotify is not shown in the service selector, that is evidence of what the page currently supports, not proof that Spotify will never carry the album. Services can be added or listings can appear closer to release.
What remains unknown about the full soundtrack
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Will all 34 album tracks be on Spotify? | Not confirmed by the official pages currently identified. |
| Will every country receive the same catalog? | Unknown; regional licensing may produce differences. |
| What songs play on each radio station? | Complete station tracklists have not been published. |
| Are album songs also radio or mission tracks? | Rockstar has not specified the overlap. |
| Will the original score get its own album? | No separate score release has been announced in the available information. |
| How many stations and podcasts will launch? | Six stations are previewed; the complete final lineup is not stated. |
This uncertainty is normal for a soundtrack announcement that is still revealing artists and stations. It also means that early social-media lists should be treated as rumors unless they match a new Rockstar announcement or a direct service listing.
CD, vinyl and the physical game are not interchangeable
Rockstar’s album page offers CD and vinyl editions of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Those are dedicated music products and should be distinguished from the physical edition of the game itself. Rockstar Support says the physical game package contains a download code rather than a game disc. That code is for the game; it is not a CD copy of the soundtrack and should not be marketed as one.
For shoppers, “Grand Theft Auto VI The Album CD” and “GTA 6 soundtrack vinyl” accurately describe the announced music products once regional stock and seller authenticity are checked. A game box, a soundtrack CD and a vinyl record may be sold separately and can have different release dates or availability.

What to expect on release day
There are likely to be two parallel listening experiences. Outside the game, the album should be a fixed 34-track collection delivered digitally and physically through the routes Rockstar announces. Inside the game, radio stations and podcasts should provide a broader, character-driven audio environment whose exact songs and programming are still pending. The original score will occupy a third role tied to the game’s dramatic and interactive presentation.
That separation answers the most common questions: you should not need to own the game to hear the album if the digital, CD or vinyl release is available in your region; owning the album will not necessarily reproduce the in-game radio; and hearing a song in a trailer does not establish where it will appear during play. Spotify remains a possibility, not a confirmed destination, until an official Spotify listing or an explicit service announcement is published.
