A Samsung phone case is built around specific Samsung handsets, and a Samsung case should be treated as compatible with a Redmi only if its listing names that exact Redmi model. Brand name, similar screen size, or a rough match on length and width does not establish fit.
Why the brand name is the wrong test
A case is shaped around a phone’s outline, camera cutout, button positions, and port openings. Those layouts differ between manufacturers and between models from the same manufacturer. A Samsung case is therefore a product for particular Samsung handsets, not a general accessory for any phone with a similar screen.

What Samsung’s case listings actually say
Samsung’s own product pages state which handset each case supports. The two examples below show the pattern:

Neither listing claims compatibility with another brand, and neither names a Redmi. The Galaxy A26 5G Clear Case page also lists 80.3 × 165.5 × 9.4 mm as its dimensions, which shows what a manufacturer-stated size looks like, but a size alone does not tell you whether the case will fit a different phone.

Redmi models are not one size
“Redmi” covers several handsets with different outlines. Xiaomi publishes the following dimensions for three of them:

Between the Note 13 5G and Note 14 5G, the published figures differ by about 1.3 mm in length, 0.8 mm in width, and 0.4 mm in thickness. The Note 11 is about 1.2 mm shorter and 1.1 mm narrower than the Note 13 5G, but it is about 0.5 mm thicker. These gaps look small, yet a case cut to one outline can still sit loose or clear the edges and cutouts of another badly enough to matter.

Why matching dimensions is not enough
Even when two phones have nearly identical measurements, check these points on the case listing and against your phone:
- Camera cutout: the opening must line up with the camera module, not just be near it.
- Buttons: volume and power keys need raised covers or openings in the right place.
- Ports and speaker openings: the charging port and speaker grille must be open.
- Edges and thickness: the lip height and corner shape decide whether the phone seats properly.
- Regional variant: Xiaomi notes that product details and package contents can vary by region, so match the model name and the market your phone was sold in.
A manufacturer’s compatible-model listing is a stronger check than a comparison of length and width, because the manufacturer has named the handset the case was made for.

How to check before you buy
- Find the exact Redmi model name or model number. On most Xiaomi phones, open Settings, go to About phone, and read the model. The label on the original box also shows it.
- Open the case listing and look for a compatible-model line. It should contain your exact model name, not just “Redmi” or “Xiaomi.”
- If the listing names a different handset, do not assume it also covers your Redmi, even if the dimensions look close.
- Compare the listing’s description of the camera cutout and button openings with your phone’s layout.
- If the listing does not name your Redmi, choose a case made specifically for that model.
Buying a case for your Redmi
If you still have the original box, check whether it includes a protective case. Xiaomi’s global support page lists one in the package contents for the REDMI Note 13 5G, but it notes that contents can vary by region. When you search for a replacement, use the full model name, such as “Redmi Note 13 5G case,” rather than “Redmi case,” so that the results show only handsets your phone matches.
