If you’re shopping in the UK for a WiiM Pro Plus or WiiM Ultra, the October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days prices reported by What Hi-Fi? were not the lowest prices it had seen for either model. Its figures were £209 for the Pro Plus and £309 for the Ultra, compared with earlier observed prices of £175 and £279 respectively. If your main aim is to pay as little as possible, waiting for Black Friday is reasonable—but no Black Friday price is confirmed, and a lower deal is not guaranteed.
How the reported Prime Day prices compare
These are UK price observations reported by What Hi-Fi? in 2026, not guaranteed live prices. Retailer, stock and price can change; check the current listing and its terms before buying.

Which model fits your system?
The Pro Plus is the more affordable option for adding streaming features to a hi-fi system you already own. What Hi-Fi? describes it as a five-star, award-winning product with extensive streaming support and a compact form. Those are the publication’s editorial assessments, not a separate test result.

- HDMI ARC
- A moving-magnet phono stage
- USB input
- Subwoofer output

Compare the connections you actually need with the price gap between the two models. If the Ultra’s added inputs and outputs would go unused, its higher price may not be worthwhile for you.

Should you wait for Black Friday?
Wait if your purchase is not urgent and your priority is the lowest price. What Hi-Fi?’s view is that Black Friday is usually a strong period for hi-fi discounts, based on its past experience. That is an editorial judgment, not a guarantee that either WiiM streamer will be cheaper then—or that a particular retailer will have stock.

Buy during the current event if the live price works for you and you want the streamer now. The reported October offers were above the earlier prices cited for both models, but a previous low is not necessarily available today or at a retailer you prefer.

- Check the live UK price. The £209 and £309 figures are the October 2026 event prices reported by What Hi-Fi?, not verified current offers. Compare the product page and checkout total at the retailer.
- Check local availability. WiiM says promotion windows and discounts vary by country. Its official blog is the place to check regional promotion information: WiiM’s blog.
- Compare the exact model and connections. Make sure the listing is for the Pro Plus or Ultra you intend to buy, then decide whether the Ultra’s extra connections and touchscreen justify the difference for your system.
- Set your own price threshold. If you would only buy at or below the earlier observed price, wait and monitor listings; do not treat that historic figure as a promised return price.
