If your Zora creator rewards or Base transaction are not showing, an empty app or indexer view does not by itself tell you whether a transaction happened or whether you earned a reward. Check the transaction in Zora’s explorer, then separately confirm whether the trade qualified under the reward rules that apply to that coin.
What Zora Creator Rewards are—and what they are not
Zora’s Help Centre says creators earn token-denominated rewards from eligible trading activity, not simply from publishing a post. Its current guidance says eligible trades involving a creator’s Creator Coin, post coins, and posts paired to a tag earn the creator 1% of trade value in $ZORA, paid to the creator’s Zora wallet. That is a description of rewards in $ZORA, not a promise of a particular cash amount or a guarantee that a specific user will receive a payout. Creator Coins are profile-level tokens on Base; they are not the same thing as an NFT mint or a general wallet balance. See Zora’s Creator Coins help material.
Check whether the transaction is on Base
Start with the transaction hash, if you have it. Zora’s explorer accepts searches by transaction hash, address, or block, so you can check chain activity even when an app view is blank. Open Zora Explorer and search using the strongest detail available.

- Search by transaction hash. This is the most direct way to find a particular transaction.
- If you do not have the hash, search an address. Use the wallet address involved in the transaction.
- If needed, search by block. A block number or a time range can help narrow down activity; you will still need to identify the relevant transaction.
- Confirm the network. Zora’s Creator Coin documentation identifies Base as the network for Creator Coins.
An explorer lookup answers whether it can show a chain record for the details you searched. It does not, by itself, establish that the activity qualifies for Creator Rewards or that a reward was credited to a particular wallet.
Separate the three questions behind “nothing is showing”
- Did a transaction occur and succeed? Look for the transaction in the explorer and check its recorded status.
- Was it an eligible trade? A successful transaction is not automatically reward-eligible. Its coin, trade, and applicable reward schedule matter.
- Is the reward visible in the right place? Zora says rewards are paid to the creator’s Zora wallet. An empty app or wallet view is a display observation, not proof that the underlying transaction did not occur.
These are distinct states: no transaction found in the explorer, a transaction not appearing in an application or indexer, a trade that does not qualify, and a reward that is not visible in a wallet should not be treated as interchangeable explanations. Without the transaction details and a current lookup, it is not possible to identify which one applies.

Check which reward rules apply to the coin
Do not assume that one rate applies to every Zora coin or every period. Zora’s current rewards overview distinguishes Creator Coins and Pairs from Custom Pairs and notes that coins created before September 15, 2025 retain their earlier reward structure. What an empty explorer or indexer result does—and does not—establish
An empty result is inconclusive until the search details and source are checked. Zora’s explorer provides transaction-level lookup, but its search page does not prove whether any particular transaction is indexed. Likewise, historical API documentation cannot establish the completeness or behavior of a current API: Zora’s API introduction listed Base (chain ID 8453) with “Entire History” coverage, but that documentation repository was archived on September 19, 2024. The available information does not establish a specific indexer’s coverage, a normal indexing delay, or an outage as the cause of a missing result. If you cannot locate a transaction, gather its hash, the relevant wallet address, or the approximate block before contacting Zora through the official support channels linked from its Help Centre.
