The Google Play listing gives a minimum RAM specification of 6 GB. That is a general app specification, not a flight requirement, and it does not diagnose why flight is unavailable in a particular character or session.

Do mounts or “Taking Flight” unlock flying?
Not according to the cited descriptions. The official global site says pets can transform into rideable mounts and may offer benefits such as auto-looting; it does not say those mounts unlock flight. Separately, NCSOFT’s July 6, 2026 update announcement describes a “Taking Flight” progression package as helping returning players quickly reach around 300K combat power. It does not describe the package as a flight unlock.
Launch timing and what remains uncertain
The official global site listed October 5, 2026 as AION 2’s service launch. As of October 4, 2026, that date was still in the future, so launch-day behavior was not yet verified in the information available for this article. The public descriptions establish that flight is a promoted feature, but not the exact requirements, exceptions, or fixes for an individual failure.
