If she is not appearing in Disney Dreamlight Valley, first check whether you have reached her introductory quest—not a Star Path duty or a later location-search problem. The available official information does not confirm a current Sally-specific appearance bug or a guaranteed fix.
Why isn’t the patchwork villager appearing?
“Patchwork villager from Pumpkin Town” is a clue pointing to Sally, whose patchwork look is described in Gameloft’s update announcement and whose identity is also covered by Destructoid’s October 5, 2026 guide.

Before trying to make Sally appear, identify which of these situations you have: she has not been unlocked, she is unlocked but you cannot find her in the Valley, or a Star Path duty mentioning her is not counting progress. Each calls for a different check.

Gameloft’s Sew Delightful update announcement describes messages appearing around Kristoff’s home and says the player and Jack Skellington will help welcome a new villager. Open your Quest menu and check whether the related quest is available or active. If it is active, follow its displayed objective and confirm it is complete before looking for Sally elsewhere.

Sally is unlocked, but you cannot find her
Use the in-game map and quest tracker to check her current location and any active quest objective. The available official information does not establish a reliable way to force Sally to a particular location, so do not assume that restarting the game, fast traveling, changing the time, or moving buildings will solve it.
A Star Path duty is not progressing
Read the exact duty text and confirm which event and platform you are playing. A duty counter is a separate issue from unlocking or locating Sally. Gameloft’s August 18, 2025 overview of Star Path changes says duties requiring certain previously released characters or locked features were removed to improve accessibility. That change does not establish that every later event uses the same duties.

Platform also matters: Gameloft’s September 21, 2026 update notes describe Haunting Elegance as the first Apple Arcade Star Path and say it uses daily duties. Check the event’s own duty list rather than applying guidance from another event or platform.

What to do if Sally’s quest remains blocked
- Open the Quest menu and check whether Sally’s introductory quest is available or active.
- If it is active, inspect the current objective and follow it. The documented introduction involves messages around Kristoff’s home and Jack Skellington.
- If Sally is already unlocked, check the in-game map and quest tracker to locate her.
- If a Star Path counter is the problem, verify the exact duty, event, and platform before retrying the objective.
- If the quest still cannot progress, contact Gameloft support with the quest name, displayed objective, platform, and what happens when you attempt it.
The available sources do not confirm a current Sally-specific bug or a universal recovery method. The Star Path Vault announcement explains that Routine Duties earn tokens for Vault items; it does not connect Vault progress to Sally appearing or to an introductory quest becoming unstuck.
