If the CONTROL Resonant soundtrack is unavailable in your country, the available information does not identify a specific cause: no current territory-by-territory availability list is published in the sources cited here, and the country and music service showing the message matter. Check the official album in another licensed music service or on YouTube, and verify the contents of your local game-store listing if you mean the soundtrack bundled with Digital Deluxe.
Why the CONTROL Resonant soundtrack is unavailable in your country
The album is real and newly released, but that does not mean it is available in every territory on every service. Apple Music lists CONTROL Resonant (Original Soundtrack), credited to Petri Alanko and CONTROL Resonant, with a release date of October 2, 2026. Its listing shows 13 songs and a total duration of 51 minutes; Remedy Entertainment is credited under exclusive license to Milan Records, a label of Sony Music Entertainment.

A TechRadar report published October 1, 2026 says the official soundtrack is available on music apps and YouTube. That is a general distribution report, not confirmation that the album appears in every country or on every named service. The sources do not establish whether a particular unavailable-country notice is caused by licensing, a service’s catalog, or another account or location issue.
Remedy announced that the game launched worldwide on September 24, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. That game-release announcement does not establish the soundtrack’s regional music rights or availability. The game’s launch date is also separate from the album’s October 2 release date.

What to try
- Search the exact album in the service you use. Try “CONTROL Resonant (Original Soundtrack)” and “Petri Alanko” in that service’s album search. Check that the result is the official release, rather than a playlist or an unrelated result.
- Check another licensed music app. TechRadar reported availability across music apps, but catalogs can differ by service and country. Treat another app as a place to check, not a guaranteed fix.
- Look for the official YouTube listing. YouTube was also mentioned in TechRadar’s distribution report. Its availability in your location is not established for every viewer.
- If you mean the game-bundled soundtrack, inspect the local Digital Deluxe listing. The official PlayStation and Xbox store listings include an Original Soundtrack among Digital Deluxe content. Confirm the contents shown in your own region before buying; this is a game-edition option, not evidence of a standalone physical soundtrack album.
- Share the country and service showing the notice. Without those details, there is no evidence-based way to diagnose that specific restriction.
Do not assume that changing an account’s country or bypassing a platform’s country controls will resolve the issue. The available sources do not establish either as a reliable or appropriate remedy.
Which legitimate route fits your situation?
| Route | What it offers | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Standalone album on a music service | The official album listing, where the service carries it in your country. | Search the exact title and artist, then confirm the result is available to play in your location. |
| Official YouTube listing | A reported online listening option. | Whether the official listing plays in your country; availability is not guaranteed everywhere. |
| Digital Deluxe game edition | Digital soundtrack content included in the edition listed by the PlayStation and Xbox stores. | Your local store’s edition contents and whether you want to buy the game edition. The listings do not establish that the base physical game includes the soundtrack. |
What is—and is not—confirmed
The cited sources do not provide a current country-by-country availability matrix for CONTROL Resonant’s soundtrack. Remedy’s 2020 announcement about the original Control soundtrack named worldwide digital streaming services, but that was a different album and does not prove where CONTROL Resonant is available. No source cited here establishes a physical soundtrack album.

- 1. Check Batteries: Reinstall the batteries, ensuring the contacts are clean and the polarity is correct.
- 2. Check Device: Confirm your device is powered on and functional. Try using the physical buttons on the device's panel to ensure it operates correctly.
- 3. Check for Obstructions: Make sure there are no objects blocking the path between the remote and the device's IR sensor.
- 4. Test the Remote: Use your smartphone camera for a quick test: Open your phone's camera app, point the front (LED end) of the remote directly at the phone's lens, and hold down any button. If you see a faint white or purple light flashing on your phone's screen, the remote is emitting an IR signal and is likely working. If you see no light, there may be an issue with the batteries or the remote itself.
