PARIVISION coach dastan says HObbit returned because the previous lineup lacked team chemistry and the veteran should be ready to help the team perform without a long teaching period. Dastan hopes to help HObbit win another trophy, but he has not said how long the roster will stay together.
Why did PARIVISION bring HObbit back?
In an interview published by HLTV on October 3, 2026, coach Dastan Akbayev said he did not feel the lineup featuring slaxejezzz had the chemistry of a united team. He described HObbit’s experience as a reason the team could move directly to performing rather than spending time teaching him.
“With the team with slaxejezzz, I didn’t feel that we have team chemistry. I don’t feel that we are one team. And when we bring HObbit, his experience, we don’t need to teach him, and now it’s time to perform,” dastan said.
That is the coach’s explanation and expectation, not independent proof that the change will improve results. The interview frames the decision as a response to cohesion and readiness, rather than a claim that experience alone guarantees success.

How is the roster meant to balance experience and younger players?
Dastan characterized the lineup as “three old school guys and two younger” players. He said xiELO has important responsibilities and needs to perform better, and that xiELO and FL1T need to understand how their roles fit together. In his account, the roster change is not simply about adding a veteran: the players also have to make their responsibilities work as a unit.
What does dastan say the team needs to improve?
He identified both individual form and map adaptation as immediate concerns:

- Role fit: He wants xiELO and FL1T to better understand their responsibilities in relation to one another.
These are the coach’s assessments in the October 3 interview; they are not measurements of player performance across a defined period.
Is this a long-term PARIVISION lineup?
Dastan did not commit to a timeline. “I can’t say from which time, for which time we will play together,” he said, adding that future decisions would depend on results. The interview therefore presents the lineup as one whose tenure remains open, not as a guaranteed long-term arrangement.

What was the Major qualification context?
HLTV’s October 3, 2026 match framing followed PARIVISION’s close overtime win over Legacy and reported that the team had a 95% chance of making the Major at that point. That figure belongs to the article’s publication-time context; it should not be read as a current probability or as confirmation that PARIVISION ultimately qualified.

Dastan said his personal goal was to help HObbit add another trophy to his career. “I try to play with HObbit to bring one more trophy for him because he’s already not young, and I hope he can show that he can perform at the old age,” he told HLTV. The remark expresses the coach’s ambition and view of HObbit’s potential, not a prediction that a trophy is assured.
