Your estimated revenue can change after a 24/7 YouTube livestream ends because YouTube revises provisional earnings. It identifies invalid traffic, Content ID claims or disputes, and certain ad campaign types as possible reasons. YouTube does not say that 24/7 streams receive a special adjustment, and the public guidance cannot identify what caused a change on a particular channel.
Why an ended livestream’s estimate can change
Revenue shown in YouTube Analytics is an estimate, not a final payment amount. YouTube says monthly estimated revenue may be adjusted for invalid traffic, Content ID claims and disputes, or certain ad campaign types, such as cost-per-day campaigns. YouTube describes two adjustment points: an initial adjustment after about one week, intended to provide a more complete estimate, and another in the middle of the following month as earnings are finalized. Revenue typically takes two days to appear in Analytics. These are YouTube’s stated timings, not a guarantee that every account or report updates at an exact hour. Check your YouTube revenue

Check that you are comparing the same revenue measure
Different Analytics figures can all be valid because they describe different things. Before concluding that earnings were removed, check the metric, date range, revenue source, and whether the report is for the whole channel or one video.

| Finalized earnings | The finalized amount shown in AdSense for YouTube; it can differ from the Analytics estimate, and applicable tax withholding may affect it. |
A view, an ad impression, and a monetized playback are also different counts. Not every view has an ad. A monetized playback can include a view where at least one ad impression was shown, so view count alone does not tell you how many views generated ad revenue. Understand ad revenue analytics

Where to check the livestream’s revenue
- Open YouTube Studio and select Analytics, then Revenue. YouTube provides estimated-revenue reporting at channel and video level. The Studio experience is being gradually updated, so labels or navigation may vary by account. YouTube Analytics revenue guidance
- Choose the report level and date range you actually want. Use the channel report for overall earnings or the video-level report for the relevant stream. Match the dates to the earlier figure you are checking.
- Check the revenue type. Compare estimated revenue with estimated revenue, or estimated ad revenue with estimated ad revenue. Do not treat RPM, CPM, views, or monetized playbacks as interchangeable revenue totals.
- Do not rely on the Live-only filter for revenue. YouTube’s livestream metrics guidance says interaction and revenue reports are not available when filtering for Live. Use the Revenue report at the channel or video level instead, with the relevant dates and data. Understand your YouTube live stream metrics
- Check again after YouTube’s adjustment windows. Revenue may first appear after about two days; YouTube describes an adjustment after about one week and another in the middle of the following month.
- Compare against finalized earnings in AdSense for YouTube. YouTube says prior-month finalized earnings are added to the AdSense for YouTube balance between the 7th and 12th of each month. Applicable tax withholding can affect the final figure. YouTube Partner earnings overview
If the amount still looks wrong
Look for account-specific revenue details and any notices or information about claims, disputes, or invalid traffic available to you. YouTube’s public help explains categories that can lead to adjustments, but it cannot diagnose an individual creator’s revision without the account’s records. If the Analytics estimate and finalized balance differ, first verify that you are comparing the same month and type of revenue; then use the account-specific information available in Studio and AdSense for YouTube.
