Eternal Isle is reached from the Verteron mainland through a Windstream in the Southern Tolbas Forest area. Start from the Astin Mercenaries Base Kibelisk or follow the quest marker to Ahtan at the cliff in southwestern Tolbas Forest, then use the Windstream to cross the water. The island has no Kibelisk, so ordinary direct fast travel will not take you there.
The short answer: Eternal Isle is a Windstream destination
Eternal Isle is the Elyos-side destination associated with Verteron. The documented route is not a normal flight, waypoint, or island teleport. You travel overland to the southern Tolbas Forest area, locate the Windstream, and ride that traversal route across to the island.

Two mainland references are useful because the available guides describe the approach differently. One starts at the Astin Mercenaries Base Kibelisk. The quest listing identifies Ahtan at a cliff in southwestern Tolbas Forest. These are compatible navigation aids, not two separate destinations. Use whichever landmark your current map or quest marker exposes, and let the marker identify the actual launch point.

What must be true before the route can work
You must be on the Elyos route
Eternal Isle is the Elyos-side destination in Verteron. Directions for Immortal Isle belong to the Asmodian side and lead to a different area. If your character is Asmodian, a guide that says “Eternal Isle” may be using the wrong faction terminology for your situation. Confirm your faction before changing settings or searching for a missing Windstream.
You must be in the Tolbas Forest approach area
The route begins on the mainland, not at a destination menu. Travel toward Southern Tolbas Forest and use a mainland landmark to orient yourself. Astin Mercenaries Base is useful when you need a Kibelisk to establish a starting point. Ahtan’s quest location is useful when the quest marker is active and points toward the southwestern cliff.
You must find the Windstream, not a second Kibelisk
The relevant quest steps explicitly use the Windstream and then place the character on Eternal Isle. Treat the Windstream as the transport mechanic. Searching the coastline for a permanent island teleport point will not solve the problem because the island is not documented as having its own Kibelisk.
Step-by-step route from Verteron to Eternal Isle
- Confirm the character and zone. Check that you are playing an Elyos character and that your map is showing Verteron rather than an Asmodian-region route.
- Open the current quest or map marker. If the Eternal Isle quest is active, select it and watch for the marker associated with Ahtan. The quest listing places Ahtan at a cliff in southwestern Tolbas Forest.
- Set a mainland starting point. If you need a reliable travel anchor, use the Astin Mercenaries Base Kibelisk. It is a starting landmark, not a teleport destination on the island.
- Travel into Southern Tolbas Forest. Follow the marker toward the southern part of the forest and then toward the cliff area. The exact launch position may vary in how the current client displays terrain and markers.
- Search for the Windstream. Look for the interactable or traversable stream indicated by the quest and map cues. Do not substitute a flight path or ordinary movement across the water.
- Use the Windstream. Activate it when the interaction prompt appears and remain with the traversal until the route completes. The documented sequence is to use the Windstream and then arrive at Eternal Isle.
- Confirm the destination after loading. Once the transition finishes, check the zone name and quest objective. If the character remains on the mainland, the Windstream interaction did not complete; return to the launch area rather than trying to teleport from a nonexistent island Kibelisk.
The map marker is the final authority for the launch point in your client. The guides agree on the region and Windstream method but do not provide one shared, official coordinate that can safely replace the marker.

Which landmark should you use?
| Landmark or cue | What it tells you | When to use it | What it does not guarantee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Astin Mercenaries Base Kibelisk | A mainland travel anchor named by the route guide. | Use it when you need to return to the Verteron approach or establish a convenient starting point. | It does not mean Eternal Isle has a matching Kibelisk or direct teleport option. |
| Southern Tolbas Forest | The broad approach area where the Windstream route is found. | Use it to narrow the search after arriving in Verteron. | The area name alone does not identify the exact interaction spot. |
| Ahtan’s cliff in southwestern Tolbas Forest | The quest database’s named NPC and location clue. | Use the active quest marker to navigate toward the cliff and the nearby launch route. | The listing is not a shared official coordinate for every client version. |
| Current quest or map marker | The location cue rendered by your installed client. | Use it to resolve differences between the guide’s landmark wording and the terrain on your map. | A missing marker may indicate an inactive quest, a different faction, or a client-state issue rather than a new route. |
Why direct fast travel fails
There is no destination Kibelisk on Eternal Isle
A Kibelisk normally provides a recognizable fast-travel anchor. The route guide specifically says Eternal Isle has none. Consequently, the island may be absent from destination lists even when your character is eligible to visit it. This is a route design detail, not proof that the zone is inaccessible.
The crossing is a traversal sequence
The Windstream is part of the quest and zone design. It carries the character across the water after the mainland approach. Selecting a flight, opening a general travel menu, or attempting to swim does not reproduce that sequence and can leave you searching in the wrong place.
Returning also uses the route
Because the island has no Kibelisk, plan to leave through the Windstream route. Do not abandon the island expecting to set a new local teleport point. If the return interaction is not obvious, consult the active quest and the map for the corresponding stream or mainland-side route.

Troubleshooting when you cannot see or use the Windstream
1. The map points to the wrong island
Compare the destination name with your faction. Eternal Isle belongs to the Elyos/Verteron route in the available location guides. Immortal Isle directions are for the Asmodian side. A faction mismatch is the first issue to eliminate because following the wrong island’s instructions can put you in an entirely different region.

2. You are searching at the wrong mainland landmark
Do not treat Astin Mercenaries Base and Ahtan’s cliff as interchangeable map pins. The former is a Kibelisk-based starting landmark; the latter is a quest-location clue in southwestern Tolbas Forest. If one does not match what you see, switch to the active quest marker and follow it into Southern Tolbas Forest instead of repeatedly circling the same landmark.
3. The quest is not active or has not advanced
Open the quest log and verify that the objective requiring the Windstream is present and current. A quest marker for an earlier step may point to an NPC or location that is not the launch point. Advance any prerequisite objective shown in the log, then return to the marker for the Windstream step.
4. You are below the level guidance shown by the sources
The route guide recommends level 45 for the upper-tier area, and the quest database lists level 45 as an unlock level. Those entries do not establish an official, universal hard travel requirement. Treat level 45 as a warning to check your current client: if the quest is unavailable or the interaction is missing, level or quest progression may be relevant. Do not assume that reaching level 45 alone guarantees access.

5. The interaction prompt does not appear
- Move along the cliff and stream approach while watching for the interaction indicator rather than stopping at the first scenic overlook.
- Make sure the correct quest is selected so its marker and objective remain visible.
- Check that you are not following a marker for a different faction or for Immortal Isle.
- Leave and re-enter the immediate area if the marker and terrain appear out of sync, then check the quest log again.
- If the client still shows no interaction, compare the current zone name and quest step with the route wording; exact coordinates are not established by the available guides.
6. The Windstream starts but does not complete the crossing
Remain in the traversal until the destination transition finishes. If you cancel movement, leave the stream, or are returned to the mainland, treat that as an incomplete interaction and retry from the marker’s approach. Verify that the quest objective changes after the attempt. A completed crossing should place the character on Eternal Isle; merely reaching the water does not satisfy the route.

Level 45: recommendation or hard requirement?
Level 45 appears in two different forms in the available material: the route guide recommends level 45 for the upper-tier area, while the quest database lists level 45 as an unlock level. Neither source is an official system specification that proves every travel attempt is blocked below that level.
Use the number as practical guidance:
- If you are below 45 and the quest is not offered, continue your normal progression and check again when the objective becomes available.
- If you are at or above 45 but still cannot travel, do not treat the level as the only explanation. Check faction, zone, quest state, marker position, and Windstream interaction.
- If your current client shows a different level or prerequisite, follow that in-game information because the indexed third-party entries may not reflect every client change.
How to distinguish a route problem from a client or guide mismatch
The route itself is consistently described as Southern Tolbas Forest to Windstream to Eternal Isle. The uncertainty concerns the precise mainland launch landmark and coordinates. One source names Astin Mercenaries Base; another names Ahtan at a southwestern Tolbas cliff. They do not publish a single shared official coordinate.
Use this comparison when the written directions and your map disagree:

- Same faction, marker absent: check the quest’s current step and whether the destination objective has unlocked.
- Different island name: stop and verify faction before traveling farther.
- Level shown differently: treat the current client’s requirement as authoritative and the level-45 entries as guidance from third-party listings.
- No island teleport option: this is expected when the island has no Kibelisk; use the mainland Windstream route.
What not to do
- Do not search for an Eternal Isle Kibelisk as if it were a normal destination anchor.
- Do not use Immortal Isle instructions for an Elyos character.
- Do not assume Astin Mercenaries Base is the final launch coordinate; it is a starting landmark.
- Do not treat level 45 as a confirmed hard gate for every client when the available entries describe it differently.
- Do not rely on an old screenshot or an unverified coordinate when the current quest marker points elsewhere.
- Do not add a peripheral, repair utility, or other external product to the troubleshooting process; the route requires the in-game Windstream.
A practical decision path
- Are you Elyos? If not, stop using Eternal Isle directions and identify the Asmodian destination instead.
- Are you in Verteron’s Southern Tolbas Forest approach? If not, travel to the mainland region before searching for the stream.
- Does the quest marker identify Ahtan or the southwestern cliff? Follow it. If it does not, review the quest step and prerequisites.
- Can you reach the Windstream? Use it; do not search for an island Kibelisk.
- Did the crossing complete? Confirm the zone changes to Eternal Isle and the quest objective advances.
- Still blocked? Compare your client’s faction, level, quest state, and map marker with the route. Exact coordinates are not established in the available guide and database entries, so the current marker should take priority.
What the available sources establish—and what they do not
Current indexed third-party route guidance and quest-database information establish the practical sequence: Elyos and Verteron, Southern Tolbas Forest, Windstream, Eternal Isle, and no island Kibelisk. They also provide the Astin Mercenaries Base and Ahtan’s cliff as navigation clues.
The indexed official Aion 2 site does not provide route directions for this question. The available material therefore does not establish a single official coordinate, a universal hard level gate, or a permanent interface label that will be identical across every client update. For that reason, use the in-game quest and map marker to resolve the last part of the journey.
After you arrive
Once the loading transition places you on Eternal Isle, verify the zone name before moving on to the next objective. Remember that the island is not documented as having a Kibelisk. If you need to return to Verteron, look for the corresponding Windstream route rather than expecting the island to appear in a normal fast-travel list.
Keeping the quest selected while you explore is useful because the marker can distinguish the active objective from nearby scenery and prevent a return trip to the wrong mainland landmark.
