First determine what the accessory is supposed to change
A buff can be working even when the number you are watching stays unchanged. Anime Zero accessory effects are described in several families, and each needs a different test.

Read the current tooltip character by character before testing. Community tables can become stale, and two accessories may have similar names but different effects. Record the exact item name and bonus text rather than relying on memory.
Check that the item is equipped, not merely owned
- Open Anime Zero and go to the current equipment or accessory screen.
- Locate the exact accessory named in its tooltip. A crafted or owned item is not necessarily active.
- Confirm that the item is displayed in an occupied slot in the current client.
- Check the slot shown for the accessory. The independently reported slot categories are Head, Face, Neck, and Back.
- Look for another accessory using the same slot. If two items compete for one slot, the game may prevent the second from being equipped; do not assume that possession or a craft result means both effects are active.
- Unequip and equip the intended accessory once, then reopen the screen to verify that the state persisted.
The four-slot description comes from a community database rather than developer documentation. If your live UI uses different names or shows a different arrangement, follow the live UI and include that discrepancy in any report.

Test the effect against the matching outcome
Use a controlled comparison. Keep the character, other equipment, skill, enemy or activity, difficulty, and game mode as consistent as possible. Record the value with the accessory unequipped, equip it, and repeat the same check. Avoid changing several pieces of the build between measurements because you will not know which change affected the result.
Damage and critical effects
For a damage bonus, use the same attack against the same type of target and compare several hits rather than one number. A critical-chance bonus changes how often critical hits occur; it does not guarantee that the next hit will be critical. Note whether the game displays separate normal and critical values.
Health and cooldown effects
For maximum HP, inspect the maximum value after equipping and after removing the accessory. Current health can hide a maximum-health change if you are injured, so restore or compare the displayed maximum where the interface allows it. For cooldown reduction, time the interval from skill use until the skill becomes available again, using the same skill and conditions.

Coins and experience
Coin and XP bonuses are farming or progression effects, not damage multipliers. Compare the reward from the same activity, at the same stage or mode, and record the before-and-after award. A stronger attack with no larger reward does not disprove a coin or XP buff; it is simply measuring the wrong statistic.

Drop rate is probabilistic. One mission without an item is not evidence that the accessory failed, just as one successful drop does not establish the size of the bonus. Repeat a comparable activity and record the number of attempts and drops, while recognizing that a small sample cannot prove the effect either way.
Walk speed
Test movement in the same area and along the same route. Do not compare a character carrying a different movement modifier or moving on a different surface. If the game exposes a speed value, record it; otherwise document the visible difference with the route and conditions.

Use this troubleshooting sequence
- Confirm the experience. Make sure you are in the Anime Zero experience by LY*, not another Roblox game with a similar name. A report attached to the wrong experience cannot be matched to the correct systems.
- Capture the tooltip. Write down the exact accessory name, stated bonus, and any conditions or percentages shown in the current client.
- Verify the slot. Confirm the accessory appears equipped now and is not blocked by another item in Head, Face, Neck, or Back.
- Choose a matching test. Measure damage for a damage bonus, rewards for coins or XP, drops for drop rate, and movement for walk speed. Use repeated observations where the outcome is random.
- Keep the comparison clean. Do not change your character, other accessories, skill, mode, target, or activity between the two checks unless the tooltip requires a condition you are documenting.
- Rejoin once. Leave the experience, join again, recheck the equipment screen and tooltip, and repeat the same measurement. This is a diagnostic recommendation, not a confirmed developer fix.
- Record the result. Save the item name, slot, tooltip text, game mode, device, test activity, before-and-after values, and the time of the check.
If the effect appears after rejoining, note that the rejoin coincided with the change; do not describe it as a guaranteed solution. If nothing changes, the record still gives the developer actionable reproduction details.

What to include in an issue report
A useful report should let someone reproduce the same state. Include:

When not to call it a bug
Do not label the accessory broken solely because a different stat stayed the same, a random drop did not occur, or a community table disagrees with the current client. Those observations can result from testing the wrong outcome, chance, stale information, or a slot conflict. A tooltip that remains inconsistent with a controlled, matching test after a fresh join is a reasonable basis for reporting a possible bug, while still describing it as unconfirmed.
