What is Alice on Delivery?
Alice on Delivery is a planned hand-drawn delivery game from solo developer RIM, who is also listed as its publisher on Steam. The developer describes Alice as a mail carrier in a fairy-tale world spanning three cities: Heartlier, associated with water; Clodia, with earth; and Spaden, with air.

Steam’s description presents a mix of deliveries, exploration, and getting to know residents while uncovering their stories. It also advertises a camera and journal that players can personalize with stickers and charms, plus combat using Alice’s axe. These are features described on the store page, not observations from a released game.

What do the audition numbers actually show?
TechTimes reported 6,662 auditions across 22 roles in an article published September 8, 2026. RIM’s Casting Call Club project page displays 6,661 submissions and also lists 22 roles. The counts differ by one; the available sources do not explain the discrepancy, so neither number should be treated as a reconciled or independently verified total.

The figures describe this particular casting project. They do not establish a typical response for voice-acting auditions or solo-developed games, and they do not show how many people were selected.

When did the casting call close?
The Casting Call Club listing for “Alice on Delivery – Original voice actor audition” says it was published December 19, 2025, with a March 14, 2026 deadline. In a March 18 update, RIM said the deadline had closed on March 15 and that late auditions or submissions through other platforms would not be accepted. The dates differ slightly between the listing and the creator’s update.
A February 8 update said RIM would review submissions after the deadline to focus on development. An April 1 update announced a voice actor introduction video and said some roles had not yet been chosen. The timeline indicates a casting process around an ongoing game project; it does not mean the game itself was ready to ship.

Why did the game receive so many auditions?
The reported volume is clear, but the sources do not establish a cause. The project listing and TechTimes coverage provide context about the casting call and its roles; they do not document a single explanation for the response. Without evidence from the creator or a breakdown of applicants, it would be speculation to attribute the total to the game’s premise, social-media reach, role count, or any other factor.
Nor does the submission count indicate how many auditions were usable, how many candidates were shortlisted, or how many actors were ultimately cast. The April 1 update specifically noted that some roles remained undecided at that time.

Has Alice on Delivery shipped, and when will it release?
No. Steam currently marks the game as not available and gives its release date as “To be announced.” No fixed launch date is established by the cited listings. Steam is the official place to follow or wishlist the game; wishlisting is not a purchase.
