First identify what is failing: getting a Bloodline from a spin, assigning an unlocked Bloodline to an active slot, or using one of its moves. Those are separate steps, and each has a different fix. Start at Main Menu > Edit > Bloodlines; don’t spend more spins or Robux until you know which step is blocked.
Check whether the Bloodline actually unlocked
Open Main Menu > Edit > Bloodlines and use an available Bloodline slot to spin. A name appearing in a catalogue or list does not mean your account owns it. If the desired Bloodline has never appeared in a roll, it is not unlocked yet.

An unlocked Bloodline still needs to be assigned to an active slot. The community guide describes two baseline slots; the third and fourth slots are associated with their respective gamepasses. Check the live game for current slot labels and whether the relevant pass is already on your account before considering a purchase. Slot passes add capacity; they do not unlock a Bloodline that you have not rolled.

If a previously owned Bloodline was replaced
If you replaced a Bloodline and it is no longer active, check whether your account has the Bloodline Bag and inspect its current inventory interface. The community guide describes the Bag as a way to store previous Bloodlines and select one to replace an active slot. It does not grant a Bloodline that was never unlocked. Because the interface can change, use the current in-game labels rather than relying on older button-by-button directions.
If the Bloodline is equipped but a move or mode is locked
That is a progression requirement, not necessarily an equip problem. Open the relevant Bloodline’s move or mode information and check its current requirements. Techniques may require a particular Bloodline level, a stat threshold, and Ryo; modes can have separate level requirements. Meet the listed requirements before trying to use the ability.

If the Bloodline or Element spin buttons are missing
A player report posted in October 2026 describes missing Bloodline and Element spin controls, but replies speculating about region do not establish a cause or a reliable regional fix. If the controls are absent, confirm you are in the expected game menu and check current official Shindo Life channels for a known interface or game issue. If it persists, report the platform and account details through an official support route. Do not change regions or use another account as a supposed fix based only on forum speculation.
