The closest verified result is a different event: Guinness World Records lists 760 mouse clicks in one minute by Yiğit Arslan (Yigox) and Logitech G, achieved in Istanbul on 10 February 2026. That one-minute total is not a one-second record.
Is there an official one-second clicking champion?
The reviewed Guinness World Records sources do not identify a verified champion or record total for exactly one second. Online CPS-test scores may show who clicked fastest on a particular test, but a leaderboard result is not automatically an official world record.

This distinction matters because “most clicks in one second” describes a very short test window, while an official record needs a defined category and measurement method. Without a primary record listing for that exact duration, naming a person or number as the one-second world champion would be unsupported.
The closest verified record is 760 clicks in one minute
Guinness World Records lists 760 mouse clicks in one minute, achieved by Yiğit Arslan, also known as Yigox, and Logitech G in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 10 February 2026. Guinness identifies the equipment as the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Mouse.

Guinness World Records’ official case study says the new category required a minimum of 750 clicks and that the attempt reached 760 in 60 seconds. These figures belong to the one-minute category; they cannot be treated as a one-second score or divided into a verified one-second result.
The mouse is relevant as equipment used in that attempt, not as proof that it guarantees a faster score. A record result reflects the person, the rules, the setup, and the particular attempt—not a promise of what another user will achieve with the same device.

Why one-second CPS scores can differ
CPS means clicks per second. In a one-second test, the reported count and score are especially sensitive to how the test defines its timing window and counts clicks. CPSForge says its one-second test starts its timer on the first click; on that test, 10 clicks during the one-second test produces a score of 10 CPS.

With a one-second denominator, each additional counted click changes the score by one CPS. A test that starts timing on the first click may not be directly comparable to one that begins with a fixed countdown or reports a sliding one-second peak. A third-party explainer also cautions that short-window claims depend on measurement method; it is commentary, not an official record rule. ClickSpeedTest.info discusses these comparability issues.

How to compare one-second clicking results fairly
Before comparing scores, check that both results use the same conditions:
- Test duration: Confirm that both tests measure exactly one second, rather than a longer test or a peak burst within a longer session.
- Timer start: Check whether the clock starts on the first click or at a set moment.
- Counting window: Find out whether the score counts every click in a fixed interval or reports the highest sliding one-second span.
- Input and technique: Note the device and clicking method; results from different setups may not be equivalent.
- Record status: Treat a test-site leaderboard as that site’s result unless a recognized record organization verifies the same category and attempt.
A one-second test result answers how many clicks its rules counted in that particular window. It is not interchangeable with a one-minute record total, which measures sustained clicking over a much longer period.

What counts as a good one-second score?
CPSForge characterizes a typical normal-click result as 7–10 CPS. That is the test site’s own estimate, not a Guinness benchmark, formal scientific finding, or universal population statistic. Use it only as a rough reference for that site’s context, and compare your result with scores measured using the same test and method.
