Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The most useful Landroid Vision changes are in three places: Schedule for recurring mowing, Rain Delay for wet-weather recovery, and the zone-specific edge controls for boundary work. Set those deliberately rather than accepting defaults. A practical starting point is to edit each day and time slot, leave enough daylight for every selected zone, keep the rain delay at 180 minutes unless your conditions justify a different value, and use a larger border distance beside raised obstacles.
Menu names and feature availability can vary by mower model, region and app version. The steps below follow Worx Vision documentation and the WR220M owner’s manual where that model is specifically identified; check your mower’s manual before applying a model-specific instruction to another Vision variant.

Choose the right kind of schedule first
Vision offers two different scheduling approaches. A recurring manual schedule is for normal weekly mowing. A One Time Schedule is for a single task with selected zones and a defined duration, without changing your standing weekly plan.

|---|---|---|---|
| Regular weekly mowing | Schedule | Day, time slot and selected zones | Several zones sharing a period receive time according to zone size. |
| A single catch-up or test run | One Time Schedule | Zones, edge cutting, working time and start | It does not replace your recurring schedule. |
| Boundary mapping or edge work | Edge routine within the relevant schedule | Whether the perimeter is recorded and whether an edge cut is performed | The first run can include a mapping trip before the first edge cut. |
Recurring manual schedule
- Open the Landroid Vision app and select Schedule.
- Tap Set.
- Choose the day you want to edit.
- Tap the default time slot and change its start time and duration using the controls shown for your mower.
- Save the slot, then repeat for the other days or zones that need different treatment.
If multiple zones are assigned to the same period, Worx says the mower allocates the available mowing time according to zone size. That means two equal-length slots do not necessarily give each zone equal clock time. A larger zone can consume more of the period while a smaller zone receives less.

One Time Schedule
Use One Time Schedule when you want an immediate, specified-duration job. Select the zones, decide whether to enable edge cutting, set the working time and start the task. This is safer than temporarily rewriting several recurring slots for one overgrown area or a post-repair test.
Build a schedule that finishes before dark
Worx’s Vision manual-schedule guidance warns about schedules that run after sunset. If the mower does not have the FiatLux light, a late run can end early and the mower may not return to its charging station. Treat this as a documented caution for the applicable models and software, not as a guarantee that every Vision mower behaves identically.
Practical planning method
- Start with the time you want mowing to begin, then reserve a daylight buffer before sunset rather than scheduling right up to it.
- Do not put too many areas into one period. Worx recommends no more than three areas in one time period because transitions between areas take longer.
- Give newly mapped or awkwardly connected zones their own period when transitions are significant.
- After changing a schedule, check the next run in the app and confirm that the mower is expected to return to the base within the available light.
The three-area recommendation is Worx’s documented planning advice. Actual completion time depends on zone size, travel paths, charging and interruptions, so use it as a scheduling limit rather than a promised runtime.

Set Rain Delay for your lawn’s drying time
The Vision Rain Delay guide states a default of 180 minutes. The countdown starts after the rain sensor dries, not necessarily when rainfall begins. In the app, Rain Delay can be changed or disabled.

Changing the delay
- Open the mower’s settings in the Vision app.
- Open Rain Delay.
- Choose a longer or shorter duration, or set it to zero if your model exposes that option and you accept the consequences.
- Save the setting and verify that the new value is shown before the next scheduled run.
A longer delay is useful on heavy soil, shaded lawns and areas that remain slippery after rain. A shorter delay can make sense on free-draining ground during light showers, but it increases the chance that the mower enters while grass is still wet.
WR220M-specific restart behavior
The WR220M owner’s manual describes this sequence: the rain sensor detects water, the mower returns to its charging base, and once the sensor dries the rain-delay countdown begins. For that model, the manual says setting the delay to zero removes the delay. It also says that an owner who wants an earlier restart may turn the mower off and on again only when the sensor is dry. Do not assume those exact restart instructions apply to every Vision model.
Why wet-grass mowing is a poor default
Worx’s general Landroid support information says the mower can mow wet grass but advises against it because wet clippings can build up in the mowing deck. It recommends scheduling after morning dew has dried. That advice comes from general Landroid support rather than a Vision-only manual, so use it as general maintenance guidance and follow the instructions for your exact mower.

Configure Edge routine before expecting clean boundaries
Edge routine is more than a cosmetic edge-cut command. The Vision system records the lawn area and perimeter as the mower travels along the boundary. Enable it in the app and start the routine for the zone that needs mapping.

What happens on the first edge-enabled run
When Edge routine is enabled in a manual time schedule, the mower first makes a boundary trip to record the area and perimeter before its first edge cut. Allow for that extra movement when planning the first run. If the mower has not yet completed the mapping trip, an apparently missed edge cut may simply be the expected initial sequence.
When to enable it
- Enable Edge routine for zones where the perimeter needs to be recorded or maintained.
- Use it selectively when a zone has a delicate border, a raised obstacle or a narrow passage that you do not want included in every mowing period.
- Worx recommends edge cutting no more than twice per week. Treat that frequency as the manufacturer’s recommendation, not a technical maximum guaranteed for every lawn.
Set border distance by zone, not once for the whole property
Vision’s border distance is a per-zone setting. The correct value depends on the physical boundary, especially whether the edge is level with the lawn or rises above it.
| Boundary condition | Setting decision | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Raised structure such as a fence | Use at least 15 cm of border distance, as Worx specifies. | The extra clearance reduces collision risk with the elevated structure. |
| Flat paving beside grass | Measure the actual transition and adjust the zone’s distance after observing a supervised run. | The mower can approach a level edge differently from a raised obstacle. |
| Mixed boundaries in one zone | Split the area or choose the safer distance for the most restrictive boundary. | One value cannot optimize both a flush edge and a raised fence. |
The 15 cm figure is Worx’s stated minimum near raised structures such as fences. It is not a universal distance for every boundary type, and it does not replace a physical inspection of posts, stones, drops or fragile planting.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Use Cut Over the Border only where it fits
With Edge routine enabled, Cut Over the Border can be switched on for selected zones. Worx describes this option for travel between paving stones and lawn, where it trims weeds along the paving edge. Because it is zone-specific, enable it only in zones whose paving-to-lawn boundary can safely tolerate the mower crossing the edge.

Do not substitute older Landroid controls
General or older Landroid references may mention offset blades, boundary wire or Cut-to-Edge. Those labels should not be treated as interchangeable with the Vision app’s Edge routine, Border distance and Cut Over the Border controls unless your exact model documentation confirms the match. Vision’s camera-based behavior and app labels can differ from earlier generations.

Open lawn with level paving
- Create a recurring schedule with daylight to spare.
- Map the perimeter with Edge routine.
- Set the paving zone’s border distance conservatively, then supervise the first edge run.
- Consider Cut Over the Border if weeds grow in the paving-to-lawn joint and the zone is suitable.
Fence, wall or raised edging
- Assign the boundary to its own zone if possible.
- Set border distance to at least 15 cm near the raised structure.
- Do not enable a paving-oriented over-border cut where the mower could strike the structure.
- Keep edge cutting within Worx’s recommendation of no more than twice weekly.
Heavy rain or slow-draining soil
- Keep the 180-minute default as a starting point, then increase it if the sensor dries before the lawn does.
- Schedule after dew and surface water normally clear.
- Inspect the deck for wet-clipping buildup if a run occurred in damp conditions.
Troubleshoot the result before changing several settings
The mower skips a scheduled area
Check whether the zone shared a period with larger zones, whether the period crossed sunset, and whether transitions between more than three areas consumed time. Give the zone a separate period or move the run earlier before changing mowing frequency.
The mower waits longer than expected after rain
Remember that the delay begins only after the rain sensor dries. Check the Rain Delay value in the app. If the mower is a WR220M, the manual’s zero-delay and dry-sensor restart instructions apply; verify your own model before using them.
The edge is not cut on the first attempt
Confirm that Edge routine is enabled for the correct zone and allow for the initial perimeter-recording trip. Check that the schedule actually includes edge cutting; a normal mowing slot and an edge-enabled slot are not necessarily the same.

The mower approaches a fence too closely
Increase the affected zone’s border distance and use at least 15 cm near a raised fence or similar structure. Inspect the boundary for posts, protrusions and narrow sections that may require a separate zone or a more conservative plan.
Recommended starting profile
For a typical Vision installation, begin with recurring day-and-time slots in Schedule, no more than three areas in one period, and a daylight buffer before sunset. Leave Rain Delay at its documented 180-minute default until you know how quickly your lawn dries. Enable Edge routine for the relevant zone, set border distance separately for each boundary type, and reserve Cut Over the Border for suitable paving-to-lawn zones. Then observe one complete cycle before making another change.
Because Worx updates app labels and feature availability, use the mower’s current app and model manual as the final authority. The WR220M rain instructions are model-specific, while the general wet-grass warning and older Cut-to-Edge references should not be broadened to every Vision mower.
