What does the Ultimate Team starter pack choice affect?
When you enter Football Ultimate Team, EA says you choose a Starter Pack on the “Choose Your League” screen. You can select one pack at the beginning. It affects your initial Player Items and the rewards available through Foundations Objectives. The pack emphasizes its two selected leagues, though it may also include items from other leagues. EA’s FC 27 beginner guide says players have further opportunities to earn Player Items and advises choosing around a favorite league.

The guide does not state whether you can change this initial choice later. Dot Esports reports that the choice is locked once confirmed; if that matters to you, check the in-game confirmation screen before selecting.

Which starter pack options are reported?
Dot Esports lists four country-based choices, each pairing a men’s and women’s top division. It also reports these Foundations Objective players; reward details can change, so check the live objectives in game.

Dot Esports says the listed Foundations players and packs are untradeable. Its player recommendations are that outlet’s assessment, not an official EA ranking.
How to choose between England, Spain, Germany and France
- Choose England if you prefer building around English leagues. Dot Esports specifically calls out Lewis Miley among its reported players.
- Choose Spain if you want the pairing of LaLiga EA SPORTS and Liga F Moeve. Dot Esports judges its reported objective-player group to offer the best overall value; EA does not make that ranking.
- Choose Germany if the Bundesliga and Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga are the leagues you want to build around.
- Choose France if Ligue 1 McDonald’s and Arkema Première Ligue fit your squad plans.
If none of the reported players changes your mind, use your preferred league pairing as the deciding factor. EA frames the choice as low stakes because you can earn more Player Items while playing; the beginner guide describes Ultimate Team’s player pool as “over 21,000 players worldwide,” an EA promotional figure rather than an independently audited count.

Do not confuse it with the International Starter Pack
The initial “Choose Your League” selection is separate from EA’s International Starter Pack, which appears in the FC 27 launch-rewards information as a carryover reward for eligible FC 26 players. EA lists a five-match loan Jude Bellingham, England stadium customization and an untradeable 75+ x2 Players Pack, with delivery listed for October 2, 2026. Eligible users must log in with the same EA Account and platform family used to earn the rewards. Those carryover items are not a fifth league choice.
